Johnson predicts Working From Office will return in a few short months.
I'm increasingly vibing he's not far off the mark too. As vaccination numbers at my work place rise I can already sense a disturbance in the force. They've been steadfast supporters of WFH since March last year but the way managers talk lately... they don't know when that's for sure but so they see any of the work force still being allowed WFH this Xmas? No. No they do not.

Well tons of old people are out and about. After 3 days of complaining some local councils have closed car parks at beauty spots here. Genius thinking that!
So, I went to a council run country park with the toddler. It has a perfect bike path for him on his balance bike. Im breaking rules by having to drive to this place. The car park is absolutely full, and people are enjoying their walks in what feels like the first bit of sun in months. The park is full, and over capacity in normal times. The council have not removed swings (something they did in our closest crappy park) which was nice to see.
The council run park sells food and coffee. They have picnic benches outside which everyone is using to socialise and eat. This is against the law in wales apparently and here is the council flouting it. Outside dining is forbidden for many buisnesses even after spending loads on seating, covers, apps etc setting it all up last year.
One rule for them etcLast edited by cutmymilk; 01-03-2021, 06:55.

I understand why corporate real estate managers like this one in Canary Wharf want people back in offices, but the way the BBC leads on this kind of thing - with unsubstantiated statements about everyone wanting to be back in the office ASAP - needs to stop: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-56237586

I am NOT tired of working from home. What I'm tired of is working form home and then having to remain at home. The BBC suck balls so badly that we disconnected the TV last year and cancelled the TV License. The concept of the BBC is amazing; the reality needs a lot of work in a lot of areas.
People are keen to return to the office because working from home has left many "fatigued", says a boss at Britain's biggest office and retail complex
People are desperate to eat as much chicken covered in a secret recipe concocted by a white haired chap with a beard as they possibly can, as soon as possible ,says UK boss of KFCLast edited by Brad; 01-03-2021, 13:33.
