Gamepass Ultimate for my son - how does it work?

I have gamepass and my son can play all the games on his xbox. I upgraded to ultimate so he could play games on his PC, but he says he can't play any of them. He's in my "family". What are we doing wrong?

You have to be the primary account of his console. You can then set his profile to log in automatically though so he doesnt have to select his profile every time he turns the xbox on

Sorry, if it wasn't clear - he's sorted on the Xbox. Need PC info to take advantage of the Ultimate upgrade I just did.

I misread sorry. I assume it is the same sort of process though, with the Windows Store. I'm guessing you've tried that!
