    Spider-Verse was one of those rare occasions of seeing something like nothing we'd watched before. On second viewing at home it didn't have quite the same impact but the spectacle of those visuals is rather special.

      I actually watched Ready Player One again at the weekend because my youngest kid hadn't seen it. I enjoyed it. But to see it pop up on any 'best of' list... welllllll...

      Spider-Verse is special though. It looks amazing but of course I knew it would from the trailers. What I didn't expect was for the story and characters to work so well and they brought it together with that great look and great sound to create a superhero movie that is so far above most in the genre.
