    Weird Original Xbox Game Disc

Just been on Reddit OGXbox forum and came across an oddity (pun intended) .

A guy bought what looks like a genuine NTSC boxed copy of Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. That game was one often bundled with early Xboxes.

This is what he gets when he puts it in his Xbox:-

It looks like a test disc that may have been accidentally labelled and boxed up.

Anyone here come across anything like this? Would such a disc, if proven authentic, be worth anything to a games' collector?

    That is weird and interesting.

You wonder how such a thing could happen. How on Earth could something as random as this technical certification software slip into the mix in a disc pressing plant?

If anyone's got any thoughts, I'm all ears!

It's funny how interesting a very basic looking test disc actually is!

You would think someone who has worked at Microsoft or some games company would be able to identify the contents, then the question is just how it ended up on a retail disc!

I see Modern Vintage Gamer is in touch with him, so he might have the platform to help work it out.
