TNT-"Out for delivery"?

I'm expecting a parcel from play-asia and I just checked the tracking and it reads "out for delivery"

Just wanted to know, does this mean its out in a drivers van to be delivered today? If it does I'm not leaving the house

If it does get delivered today, I'll be amazed, as it was only shipped yesterday from HK

Yeah man TNT are shockingly fast!

I've had stuff arrive in a day before - a batch of cables and stuff I ordered last Wednesday b4 leaving work arrived Friday morning too.

Best courier by far IMO.

I called them, they said it'd be with me today and they deliver until 6. 6 has gone, so I called them again. Apparently the package has been "called back by customs"? How the hell that happened when it was already in a van ready to be delivered, I don't know ft:

Do they charge you for customs charges?

"called back for customs" can sometimes mean "didn't make it on time to deliver or wasn't arsed"

Don't worry about it too much... TNT are pretty solid.

TNT will charge for customs, all my deliveries from Play Asia are via TNT and almost always attract charges, of which a standard ?10 is taken by TNT for their handling/administration charge. They are by far the best though, so so quick.

What's more irritating is that I live a 10 minute drive away from their depot. No PS2 for me tonight

I had the same thing with my Gamecube last week, i called them and they contacted the driver. It was delivered about 19:30, i get the feeling for residential customers they leave it until later to deliver as were more likely to be at home.

Marcus, how long does it take for them to send the excise invoice?
