Hi guys and gals i'm seriously considering selling my loverly GC as it simply isn't getting the attention it deserves, it's not even connected to my plasma at the moment.

As a rough guess, I'd say that on here it was worth ?300 if you sold them separately. As a bundle perhaps ?250. On ebay you might get more. You'd definitely get more for selling things separately over the course of a couple of weeks.

I bought a few copies each of these (and some other FF OST's) off Amazon UK last year for about fifteen quid each .The price you paid and are thinking of selling for is top price I would say........or,it would have been.

Im sure you know that Digicube are no longer in business and these original Digicube OST's (Final Fantasy XI cat.no. SSCX 10043-6 and Final Fantasy VIII cat.no. SSCX 10028 ) are no longer easily available.The copies offered at the usual OST sources are now the Square-Enix editions released last May making the original Digicube editions much more desirable to a collector.

Nevertheless most people (cheap people that is) still prefer to pay $10 for a bootleg copy on ebay (if theyre going to do that why dont they just down load it for free????!!! - fools) and,although much more difficult to get hold of now they couldn't be considered rare (especially compared to the limited edition versions of each).Still - original Digicube versions will only increase in value from now on.Unless you need some cash now Id hold on to them.

No games?.I wouldn't say more than 100 s/hand with no extras (the dvd remotes can be found for next to nothing ) .Certainly not worth as much now with the price drop.This is just what I think you might possibly get on ebay (wouldn't pay so much personally).

EDIT:I was thinking that the PS2 price drop is offset now by the fact that it's much harder to get your console chipped.I got mine done locally but Ive looked up a few popular sites who install chips/sell pre-chipped and they've stopped doing so.I didn't suppose they'd all take the new legal ruling re. modchips so seriously but there we are.Of course,there are still some who risk it but I suppose ,to joe public at least,this makes pre-modded consoles considerably harder to get their mitts on.
