You should have a look on Discogs, probably your best bet.

How'd you get on with discogs? Depending on the conditions you have a few I'd be interested in.

Selling my white 3DSXL with the Ambassador games on it. Are these worth any more over one that doesn't?

Full JP Super 32x set, all 18 titles. I know some of the games are somewhat pricey (Raw, Sang), many are not. Cheers

Found out recently that pokemon cards seem to have exploded in value, about 20+ years ago i was heavily into them i have hundreds of them. Complete sets of both english & japanese from the first 5 or so series along with obscenely rare promo stuff from various sources including tournament prize cards, the good news is somewhere in my flat they are all still here but i haven't touched them in decades so i have no idea if the damp has gotten to them. I still have all the stuff that came with them too like the comics they came in or other bits of merch. never sold on ebay as i have always just been a buyer.

Anyone know if there's somewhere better for selling trading cards stuff or is it a deal with the hassle of ebay & potential scammers gonna be the only way to shift these?. Some of the cards i have are easily 3 figure values for singles. For sets i have no idea weither it's best to keep them complete or split them. Think step 1 is to just hunt them all down & see what condition they are in to start with, hoping they haven't gone mouldy.

Just looked up one of the cards i can def remember is in my collection the grand party card, jesus it's going from £400 the cheapest to several grand and mine still includes the battle passport that you used originally to win it. I'm kind of terrified now because if they are damaged i'm gonna be gutted.

That's glorious. Don't suppose you have the Snap cards? They're supposed to be extremely rare.

First edition and shadowless base set cards have some serious value assuming mint condition.

Nah sadly not , i only went for the lower priced promo stuff as even back then those snap contest cards were expensive. Used to get all my pokemon card stuff from a japanese lady who ran a website called wakaba.net it's sadly long gone but she would get a lot of really rare & exclusive pokemon items as well as crazy rare cards it's where my pokemon mini stuff & pokemon centre gba stuff came from as she would even order from there for you if you wanted it was an amazing site. I do have the japanese birthday pikachu that came with the calendar but i no longer have the calendar but i do have the stickers it came with i have a whole pile of those 9 card promo sets that came in binder files. Have the spaceworld brochure that has one of the very first pokemon ereader cards. Somewhere i have a stack of the pokemon fanclub books that all came with exclusive promos, have a lot of corocoro promo cards. Have some of the mcdonalds japan cards but sadly not a full set. I stopeed collecting around the neo series so i have a lot upto there plus random side sets still searching boxes but i found some at least. Found the cinema programme that contained the japanese ancient mew card that's somewhere around as well.

If you do dig these out I'd love to see photos of everything. Afraid I can't offer much insight in terms of selling.

The rarer promo items seems like the kind of thing a YouTuber such as maxmoefoePokemon may be interested in. They're an Aussie and collect Japanese and English. Could be worth contacting their business email.

As i find them assuming they are all not destroyed by mould i'll certainly post pics. I remember a set called rainbow islands or southern islands that were some of the first cards to have full holofoil backs have those in the collection as well they came in envelopes of 3 cards and there were 3 or 4 of them in a set, thats' a good idea on maxmofo i have seen some of his vids he does seem to spend an obscene amount on pokemon cards not sure my stuff is rare enough to get his attention i'm gonna have to really put in the work with these firstly assess damage then try to reassemble them back into the sets they originally came in putting them back in the promo binders ect. I do remember having a complete uk series 1 set in the small official uk binder but i don't think they were first edition cards as none had the mark to say so.

Found my pokemon japanese official card guidebook that lists every card in there upto the date it was published lists how they were all released which will help a lot.

Heres a few pics of what i have dug out so far but not all.

Kind of conflicted with the spaceworld book as it has an amazing amount of stuff about the release of the gamecube as it was the show that it appeared.

This is the book i was on about it literally lists every card that was released obvs only upto that date but it covers even the special insanely rare cards

I'm not even sure we got first edition and shadowless cards over here, I've never seen them anyway. I have a handful of base set holo cards still and they're all shadowed.

These are the 9 card promo binder sets but only have the files so far the cards were taken out & i'm convinced i had a pikachu one as well somewhere.

JACKPOT i remembered where some of them were when i put my N64 collection away in the kitchen cupboard i remember i put all the book stuff up there it had all my pokemon trainers magazines plus the pokemon manga volumes that all came with promo cards & the southern islands sets plus my UK base set and i have checked all the holos and all are pretty much mint condition no mold damage, very dusty but i intend to fully clean & sleeve stuff up carefully.

Some pics, although i'm wracking my brain if all the pokemon trainer mags came with promo cards or not or just some i honestly can't remember i'm gonna have to do some research on the japanese side of the net to find out.

The why i became a pokemon card manga volumes, they all had exclusive promo cards in them

                              random usa movie promo card

Southern islands set, well the packs at least the cards need reuniting with them lol

uk set, just took pics of the holos but it's all the cards in there

No idea what level i can grade them at but i pulled out the charizard as people seem to flip out over that and it looks like it has just been pulled from a pack there's not creases or white wear marks on it, to me it looks good but i'd be hesitant listing it as mint as i know card collectors can be super anal.
