CPS - Capcom Play System, isn't it?

No, besides I'm looking at a picture of the box now on my phone.

        My mistake.

Capcom Play System is the arcade boards. Capcom Power System Changer is a different affair altogether.

Sorry to divert from the original topic.

Its a simple Jamma interface but it uses a slightly different pin out to standard Jamma.

It will play standard Jamma boards, but I don't think you'd get any sound with out fiddling about with the wiring and there is not insert credit button. No RGB out either as standard, although you could add it.

It'd be nice to own as an oddity I guess, but a bit pointless IMO.

However, the bloke in the shop said that the unit was compatible with all Capcom CPS-2 A&B Board combo titles. Is this true?
No, they're compatible with CPS (Final Fight, Street Fighter 2, etc), not CPS2 (Super SF2 Turbo, Vampire Savior, etc).

There's some nice, reliable info for you here and here.

As I said in my post above normal Jamma boards will run, but there will be issues due to the slightly altered pin-out.

see this is what i like about this place you learn something new every day. Previously i never even knew this system exsists, capcom actually had their own console, shame it doesn't have much games that could have had potential.
