I finally got around to seeing this last night. I loved it. It's like the brash comic answer to the Dawn Of The Dead remake, sort of like how Shaun Of The Dead is like the comic answer to the far slower and more subtle original Dawn Of The Dead. Though the two films (Shaun and Zombieland) really are too different to lump together (as are the two Dawns I guess).
The humour really worked for me and some of the zombie (if you can apply that term to running beasties) action was great. It did drag a little in the middle, where it seemed like the zombies suddenly went into hiding, but that was made up for by the little insert that has been mentioned here in spoilers. An insert that initially felt a bit off to me and yet won me over quick enough.
Really good fun.
