So yeah, I'll be setting it up day zero so if you want in, sign up and list the position you play as a "main" and alternate positions.

These positions aren't set in stone and if everyone wants to play in a certain position we rotate. I (AdCook) tend to usually be the any because I'm exceptional at defending and using the back four, Dazzyman and Windy strike up a good partnership, one of them almost always scores, Jimtendo is our free kick specialist and general tricky winger.

We tend to play a 4-4-2 so we have two strikers, but whomever plays left wing gets plenty of chance to drift in as Windy likes to drift out wide (a-la Rooney).

Not decided which team we'll use yet, that depends if the glitch has been fixed from 09 where you play with "real" stats or not. If they've fixed it we'll play with an average to good side, if the game is broken like 09 was, we'll be Real Madrid or City. If you don't like that, don't sign up. Fifa 09 was broken online for a long time and it meant unless you played as the top clubs, you couldn't win, literally couldn't win.

Get me involved. I'm prolific in front of goal, commanding in midfield and good everywhere else. All I'm saying is, those who chose to be strikers, better frickin show n prove lol

I'm getting both 360 and PS3 versions, but I reckon we should really favour PS3 version as it's the best console ever. Nah, I just prefer it.

Is this where you all play a position on the pitch? I might well be getting FIFA10, have to see, so mark me down as tentative. When is it out? As for position choice, midfield (moreso defensive) or right back would suit me fine I imagine.

I'll try my best to be online a bit more regularly this time, I'll play in defense. EA seem to have said that all teams will be ranked equally online this year. I say we play as some Mexican team - they have the best kits!!

This is an interesting poser of a question.

Now during 09' i'm sure we've (windy/ jebus/ dazzy) have tried both these teams. Unless FIFA 10 is drastically different to the way these teams played, we couldn't do too much with them. Mainly because they didn't fit the style of play we used.

When using Man utd, there was some success using Ronaldo as a striker and rooney on the left wing, with ji sung on the right.

But eventually settling for Aston Villa, where we used agbonlahor and ashley young to run down the wings to knock the ball upto Heskey, and Carew (who is freakishly fast for a tall guy) and enjoyed some success against the likes of Barca/ Man utd. It's a shame Villa had no decent replacements to stick on in the 2nd half once the wide men were burnt out.

I think Real Madrid could be broken online this year, like Barca/ Spain was in 09' since ronaldo/ kaka/ benzema could all head the ball (or win them due to their height) and they are very pacy and can shoot from long range. All three as well haven't got too bad a free kick rating as well.

I just don't like going predictably great teams. I like to go one tier down. I think Juve are just coming top tier, but they're defo not one of the teams everyone bloody goes.

I can play pretty much any position and do a good job but would prefer central midfield or a striker.

I've always loved playing as Bolton online, I know their team, their players and the way they work best.

However, you can't have played Fifa 09 online too much Hools, because if you play as a lower tiered team, you'll get beaten, every game, by a lot.

Not too many. My online stats read (PS3):

Wins - 75
Losses - 60

These were mostly played as Juventus. Only ever played Man Utd, Chelsea or Barca.

I did play the game a fair bit. Until the auto-through ball that looked scripted nearly made me break my pad lol. I think the game is ace online. Can only get better with 10.
