More than me mate, i'm just about to find the ultra hammer and i'm on 25hp, 20fp and 36bp, you can buy more though in rougeport sewers, 39 coins per increase.

Yeah I found that shop in the sewers, but it's a trade-off - you can increase one stat, but you have to drop one of the others :/

I'm still steadily plugging through this. Over half way now. And loving it. Absolutely loving it. Its constantly inventive and witty.

In fact I think its one of my games of the year. Up there with Half Life 2.

I've found an interesting way to take on the Pit of Trials:

Go to Chet Rippos house and exchange all your HP for BP or something else. You'll be down to 5 HP, so badges that only trigger during "danger" now are active all the time. Most importantly, the badge "Power Rush" lets you increase 2 ATK points for just 1 BP. About 9 of those badges and you can safely take down anything in the Pit with no problem, usually in one hit with Multibounce. Even when I miss, I usually have my Lv2 Goombella give me a Rally Wink for another chance to finish them off if nessisary. Other "danger" badges also help combo nicely with it, like Close Call to raise evassiveness, or anything that increases your defense like Defend Plus for those few instances that the enemy actually gets a chance to attack.

Best place I've found Power Rushes so far is the casino place for about 34 Piantas or 102 coins each.

I've been using this for a while, seeing how much overkill I can cause on an enemy. I'm currently at like LV 45 with 99 BP and everthing else going to FP. The only things that really give me any experience now are the Shiny Daisy's down in the 90s level of the Pit. Mainly just testing the limits of game to see how high it'll let me go, levelwise I suppose.

This was an awesome game to play. Now I'm just out of stuff to do. :P

I just started Chapter 7 tonight. Great game. I have to find a

Gold Bomb d00d and a Silver Bomb d00d. Fook knows where they are, but I'll have a proper look around tomorrow.

I wondered how to get the through fast spikey bit under Rogueport - I'll get that badge - no more ****ing crying from Mario when I stomp the spikey ****ers!! ra ra ra!

I have done a few jobs in the town to get cash, but haven't bothered since going to Glitzvile. And I haven't got any cooking done by the, er, cook in town either - is this something I need to do, or just side stuff? I haven't gone into the trials pits yet either - totally forgot about them. Can I level up in this area? Might be handy for the last level in the game. Could do with upping my badge capacity.

When you're backtracking the constant attacks from enemies annoy me abit as do ones that pounce on you the instant you come out of a fight. But 'part from that I love the game. I espcially liked

fighting the Pirate Spirit (forgotten his name) - very cool fight. But anything with pirates in gets my vote anyway

As someone else said, a Paper Luigi would be brilliant. What I'd really like to see (because Nintendo have so many characters in games like this) is a big PSO type game. Totally different of course, but whilst playing this I just thought about all the cool little characters in PM and how well they would work in a PSO type game.

That's a very interesting theory profpoke. I definitely intend to try it, not really played it since completing it a while back so this should renew some interest.

Use the ghost girl to duck into the ground every couple of seconds ;-)

Cheers.. Ahh jumping on spiking foes is ace

I got to Lv 30 in the trail pits - only getting 1 starpoint per fight at the moment, so will take a while to get lots of points from them. I'll use a mover next time I see one I drop down 10 or so, see if that helps. Still looking for this golden bomb fella. Presumingly hes not in the Fahr Post area, right?

                        Some progress has been made.

                        Ahem

Got to Chapter 8 tonight, and I starting to tire of the constant health, flower, and star sucking enemies which rarely give you anything back after you have killed them. I now have to fight another dragon, and I have zero starpower. Thanks.

I can't wait to finish this game so I never have to play it again. The messing around to find the two bombs pissed me off a treat today.. This isn't what I expected from Nintendo..

There are two badges that give you hearts and flowers after a fight, I just used them all the time. I don't recall ever using any items! It was the same in the original too, badges restored me... it is easy to exploit the badges.

I like Waluigi's badge... just for teh style I sorta breezed through the game myself. It is a funny game but gameplay is mostly run-of-the-mill.

I used Warios and Luigis together to create a purple uniform - very cool.

                            I am now

carrying on after the dragon and a fight with DOOPLISS the ghost and and two sisters (is everyones ghost name different? That was mine). Its good, but still very annoying with the constant fights. And I could do with a shop right now to tool up for the surely near end of game boss?

If that's the first time you've come across that character (

When you had to guess his name?

) then you've got a way to go yet mate.

No, he is almost at the end of the game. Not long now.

                                My ghost was called Pete?

                                Joking...
