On renting: Currently I own the house in Bowerstone South that is initially up for sale. I have fully upgraded the decorations (by selecting the smaller flag that appears) and also put my best trophy on the wall which has boosted the properties value by ?4600. Since putting it up for rent I have not had anyone move in that I have noticed and it has been up for a while. I assume its just random as to when people move in.

I really need to find an easy money making scam that isn't evil - I really don't think its possible though. Trying to get enough to buy the Solus Greatsword and also to put in a massive donation to the Temple of Avo is not proving easy at the moment.
All you need to do is buy/sell houses - but with a little twist. Buy a house and then put a couple of trophies on display to increase the price. The higher the value the trophie the better. Some trophies value at 2000 or 1500 or higher. Anyhoo... then sell your home for the increased price (of around 3,000). Then smash open the door (only adds 5+ evil points. not a lot) Take down the trophies. Then buy the house again for the original price. Go back inside and put the trophies back, sell for increased profit. repeat
Works an absolute treat ^_^

Having said that, I?m enjoying it so far. Although I find the feeling of restriction and limitations of the environment disappointing, I?m amazed at how much stuff they seem to have crammed into the locations and how beautiful some of them look.
Just developed a halo of sorts and my hair seems to be going a greyish shade of blonde. I?m sure this has been covered already, but does your character tan at all or was this something else which was removed? I seem to have spent ages out in the sun but am as pasty as a sickly goth.

Getting close to the end now I think but I'm still not doing well on the gold front (only 80K and I've hardly spent any money during the game).
Done 2 Fight Clubs so far - failed on my first attempt at the bandit one due to being hit twice by the enemy before I even had control, then only 1 more hit before I was out and thats with maxed out physique/health/toughness.
Finally bedded Lady Grey and now she won't come out the bedroom - I've heard wives sometimes give gifts but is that only when they're outside? She does nothing but giggle in the bedroom until I give her a couple of jewels at which point shes off to bed like a shot!

Aye, this is brilliant -- kind of get what you put into it kind of game. I instantly took a liking to the free trade system and how the world is far more vibrant than most RPGs. Accents are brilliant, "Want a Halifax mortgage?"
Even the missus is enjoying and from what I've seen of her play, the game is unfolding at a totally different pace to mine already. Aces!

This could be the best RPG I've ever played - there's so much freedom to do what you want. It's like Shenmue crossed with Knights of the Old Republic.
Married my first bloke last night in Oakvale, everyone falls in love with me on sight as I've maxed out the stats and I've been on a bit of drinking binge - I drank 50 pints in one pub. The graphical filter is lovely for drunkness, everyone was cheering me and saying what a great bloke I was whilst I was being sick on the floor
I've played for 9 hours and am only about 42, it's a little easy at the moment since one of my wives gave me some really powerful weapons as a present.
I think I may have found a bug though - I was doing the fight club in Oakvale and was easily beating the opponents. I kept doing the special attack (B) and then I was told that I'd lost!? They've all buggered off now...

Another bug I stumbled across is that when certain items are found they don't get added to your inventory if you already own one. For example I found another Ebony Bow, which when I went to sell at the nearest store wasn't anywhere to be found. Same goes for a spade I found recently. A little bit annoying when the item is worth a tidy sum, but nothing game breaking.
Anyway, done around 17 quests so far (about 11 hours into it) and like other people in this thread it probably ranks as one of the best RPGs I've ever played. It's definitely the most beautiful games I've seen in recent times. I was in awe when I went down to the pier on the prison path. The sun was setting and there was a light haze in the air, looked incredible. Nice work Big Blue Box!

I've found a few bugs - one very annoying, the other less so.
The fight with a time limit against the minions or whatever they're called. I killed the last one, only for the remaining guard to continue fighting - he kept swinging his sword at nothing but you could still hear the battle sound effects and the noises the monster makes. So I couldn't rescue the bloke and ran out of time. Unless the monsters can cheat and turn both invincible and invisible it must be a bug ..
Who kept the pirate's gold and didn't give it to the wife? Then killed her to make the ghost vanish? It's a shame she seems to come back to life every time the game is loaded.
