The reviewer raises a few interesting points about Fables morality system. Still, he overlooked the fact that eating tofu or baby chickens can make your character far more good/evil in the space of a few minutes than hours of slaughtering monsters or townspeople and so perhaps he should have taken the whole alignment system with a grain of salt.

Harsh but, to a certain extent, fair. As g-funk says the flaws are obvious and can at times be a pain in the arse but they are outweighed by the good points which the reviewer doesn't really touch upon.

It occured to me when playing it last night that what the game is crying out for is an option to look around in first person mode. Some of the locations are really impressive and it would have been cool to take in the views without your avatar blocking the way.

csuzw: I had the same problem with the bint - trying leaving that part of town or even the area completely then returning. So far she has given me some sort of axe but I read on gamefaqs that she occasionally gives very rare and expensive weapons out.

Yep, I noticed last night -- if you examine it, it tells you when it is pointing somewhere other than "nowhere". Pretty cool, I forgot about the basement though as I got sidetracked by the fight club guys >_<

I'm really looking forward to play this game but I'm going to have to wait a little longer as my copy from VGP was sent back to them as were all the other games they shipped on that day.

Well hopefully I'll still get it before the PAL copies start to hit the shops. From the screen shaots that I've seen in a couple of mags there seems to be a hell of a lot of brown/dull colours I remember it looking much brighter and lively while it was in production. Although saying that it still could be as I'm trying to avoid as much media coverage of this game as I can.

Yea that's a bummer dude....I read on other forums that all games that were shipped from VG+ on the 21st were shipped back to them. I was lucky and mine was shipped on the 20th and i got it 25th (^_^).
I also just have a PAL unmodded xbox and it works perfectly...just in case there are a few people reading this forum and want to hear more confermations.

No all the games that they shipped that day were sent back to them by the canadian post for some reason that they are now investigating. The games have now been re-shipped.

I married her as soon as it was possible. I have since completed the game and been back to North Bowerstone on numerous occasions throughout the day and night and she is always in the bedroom! The xbox has been on and off, saves, loads, whatever - she seems to be there for good now!
