Buster you were right about going left to right contantly with the floating ghosts, got rid of them without losing life for first time earlier thanks.

Still only 187 people on Live leaderboard, though that numbered has double in about last 3 days.

At start or level 3 lost a stupid life, wasn't really paying attention and went to jump into a sub, wasn't looking and jumped bit too far .... into the water and lost a life let it be a lesson !

      Look before you leap David.

I'm gonna have to get back into this and check those boards again. Something tells me I'm not going to be in third place anymore.

I know didn't realise it was possible to die there or would have been more careful.

Think your about 11th by the way.

Played this for a couple of hours so far. Absolutely loving it, even if the level two boss knackers me. Every. Single. Time.

Problem with that is that anything you kill with the bloody vomit doesn't net you any points, so if you're relying on it you'll be damning yourself to a lower score than is strictly necessary.

Hmm. One thing that is a bit disappointing is the list of rescued hostages in the records pages. At first I presumed that it was a list of all the specific hostages in the game, and that you'd have to hunt down and rescue them all to complete it, but that's not the case at all. Instead, you can just keep on going down the same routes and saving the same hostages, and the game gives them a name that's not already been used at random. Means you can fill up the list just by replaying the same course through level one over and over and over again.

Missed opportunity - it could have been an extra challenge for completists, but instead it's utterly pointless.

know what you mean, it would have added another dimension but think it's brimming with replay/one more go gameplay already

I've been playing this again too, so I'll bring up something that's bugged me for a while:

On Mission 2, when you cut free the 2 hostages and the guy who gives you the Thunder Clap, I get credited with 3 POWs rescued, but sometimes it's only 2. Any reason?

The first hostage has a habit of pegging it off the left of the screen while you're freeing the other two. You need to chase after him to make sure that he's dropped his goodies and saluted you, as it's only once this has happened that hostages are recognised as being rescued. best thing to do here is not bother freeing the others until you're sure you've got him.

david> I'm just being picky. The game's plenty good enough without it, but that soldiers list feels like a bit of a con, which left a nasty taste for a few minutes after I'd figured it out. Everything's back to happy happy now, though.

Nah, my POW counter is at zero before I meet those guys. E. Randy Dupre has explained what was happening, cheers

yeah thats true but the enemies build up fast and if you use the pistol as a zombie you 9 times out of 10 - will lose a life

using the zombie vomit will obliterate everything it touches including helicopters and hopefully you will hit a guy in a lab coat, who will reward you with some medicine

Tried (on Normal) and using all my continues to complete the game last night to unlock the 2 extra games - all I can say is Mission 5 is about as long as Mission's 1 to 4 added together, must have lost about 15+ lives on it and don't even think I got to the end. Some big points to be gained on mission 5 though

Tried the Ice cave on Mission 2 also, lots more hostages to rescuse but once you get as far as the elephant it is a sod to get out of the cave without losing a life.

Back to beating my score over the weekend.

                            its actually very easy

just take your time and concentrate on the zomnies on the upper level

honestly once a zombie walks in stop and kill it before you continue

if any bother you on the bottom level just flame or electrocute them using the elephant

you even have time to jump off the elephant to collect the gems

I have been away all week hence the lack of updates from me - I am desperate to play this.

However for that ice cave once i got on the elephant I totally ignored the zombies at the top and just walked right and held fire and never stopped.

As long as I didnt stop I was past the zombies at the top before they had a chance to vomit on me.
