Woof.
I imagine I'm the only one playing this but my Tron fetish is soooo compelling... I'll be picking up the Xbox form soon enough too...
This is quite a nice little isometric platformy/shooty thing... vibrant, vivid, reasonably fun. It nicely has arcade Tron and Discs of Tron in there as extras (albeit fuzzily-screened extras) and has a variety of play styles including some 3D (multiplayer) levels - light cycles, recognisers and tanks. These are playable enough but fiddly. The renovated "light cycles" neatly zooms in and out of the action to give a decent enough field of play, up to 4P on link.
Some nice speech too, including from Tron himself, Mr. Bruce Boxleitner. Disappointingly, the music and sound FX are gash and bear scant relation to Wendy Carlos' lush film themes.. which they damn well should have used.
Only played it a smidgeon, but it seems nice enough. Anyone else bought? Got extremely reasonably priced off the flea of bay (less than a tenner).
