Finally got around to this. Playing Mercenaries first as I read somewhere I can get a cool gun in the main game if I do.

S levelled the first one, second one in HDR mode is impossible to bloody see anything so I am struggling. I may need to bump up the brightness.

Doing a roundhouse kick on downed enemies will not get stale

Playing performance mode IQ is not great, but as it is a long long time since I played the OG in 480p on my gamecube, I'm guessing this remake is a massive improvement

Reading the above, it appears resolution mode might be better as my tv supports 120hz VRR and ALLM

First playthrough done. I honestly didn't remember most of the game it has been so long (I'm assuming it is pretty faithful to the OG). The village and chainsaw man and the giant and the castle (as a setting) were the only things I remembered. Anyway great game. I rocked the Magnum most of the way it made things very easy. On my knife and pistol only playthrough at the moment!
