Oddworld Strangers Wrath

I played a few bounties when I owned a while back but couldn't get into the whole chasing down the ammo thing and found it tedious. Now I'm playing it again and absolutely lovin' it. So much so it's made the small pile of 'keeper' games. Beautiful game withsome great gameplay. As has been said the cutscenes and story are absolutely top notch and you can really see why Lorne Lanning has now branched out into content creation.
Love the whole setting of the game and how it permeates the whole game and isn't just a gloss over the whole thing but has depth and character. Stranger is a great video game creation, shame there's not going to be more.

Everyone with and Xbox and ?10 should definitely make this and essential purchase.

But, like ICO, an amazing game will allways find its way into peoples homes.

Put some more time into this last night - Was a bit stuck but then got going again - My God - The graphics actually GET BETTER !!!1!11!

Stranger is my favourite VG character in a long time - I love his delivery. On the hunt for the 20k of moolah now - I don't see me putting this down till it's finished and it has (temporarily) halted my Killer7 progression.

Everybody buy it.

They actually announced a sequel (or what would have been the final game in the Oddworld five as it were) and I remember seeing one shot of what looked like some cover art for it. Supposedly the same setup as Strangers Wrath but darker in tone but then Mr Lanning said no more so I dunno if anyone will continue/finish the series or not...shame...

Months on, this is still genius stuff - has been a slow burner for me but every time I put it on I'm again impressed - it just keeps getting better and better. The drive is on now to finish this in the next week or so.

I bought the game cheap a few months ago a good game.But before i saw reviews of it was put off considering the quality of there first xbox oddworld game.

One of my games of the year too, only behind Resident Evil 4 and Killer7. An amazing game, and probably my favourite Xbox release since Halo.

This game just gets better and better. The last few levels are just amazing to look at and play.
Up there with RE4, and GOW as my game of the year.

I just started this, and played the first hour.

Can anyone tell me how long the game is? Hopefully under 12 hours or so as I don't want to play most of it then give up for Zelda time!

Its pretty short. Can't say how many hours it was a good month or so ago when I played through my copy but I played it over the course of a week. Definitely see it through to the end, it gets really good.

Brilliant. I will try - got a lot of work to do but will go for 1.5 hours an evening weekdays.

Probably be coming to teh end of it when I get Zelda but will try not to forget to finish it
