Managed to get this from work today.
A few quick impressions as i'm in a rush
Firstly, well done to Ignition (oh god! i'm praising Ignition!) on the packaging. Comes in a really nice slipcase , with a 40 page artbook/moves guide, the game itself, and a bonus KoF 10th anniversary DVD.
I've haven't played KOFMI before, but i was quite pleased with it after expecting the worst. The characters models are quite detailed and look like the 2D counterparts. The fighting engine is very fast in keeping with the 2d games and the majority of moves are pulled off the same, in fact if it wasn't for the sidestep and circle moving it'd practically play the same.
The music is excellent, by the ever reliable noise factory.
Boss is typical cheap bitch in what seems to be a remade KoF'96 stage.
Oh, and most importantly, the PAL version allows you to change between English and Japanese voices.
