I must say that it's a great feeling when they give you a racing car. You just want to take it out and set fire to the track. I am going to introduce my spanky new CLK to the 'Ring and see what happens.

Talking about the Nurburgring, take a look at this superb vid of a M3-GTR vs the F1 track and the Nordschleife.

And you can buy the same car in Forza, so what are you waiting for.

Ok i dont want to keep interrupting you guys here but ive went through any photos and video footage taken of the recent testing and frankly its not upto a standard id like to post. It was the first time we got it all running and photos etc were rushed.

I WILL do a good seperate report on the whole topic of "Forza Multiscreen" but currently going to consider stalling it for a later time and confirm if its possible to get help in setting it up again sometime for better photos.

Anyhows as ive been so far pretty well welcomed here this little multiscreen sampler is for you guys.

          SAMPLE
Keep in mind the centre screen stays unchanged their is no altering of the FOV so its just the way the view/game is on normal playing everything else from the additional screens is benifits the feature gives. I particulary like how its easier to see or pass around other cars with being able to see them on the sides you no longer have to try and guess where they are.

Approx 7.6mb / please save as

Nice work, I love the music. The GT-One rocks.

Wow! That's amazing RAD. Congratulations on getting it all set up and working it must have taken lots of time and effort to do so, but also been a lot of fun as well . In regards to your comment on being able to pass people easier, i couldn't agree more. Passing people looks so much easier to judge and the immersion you get from being able to see 3 times as much must be incredible when playing!

OK, so the centre screen acts as the normal view, and the additional screens give you a side view. Sounds ****ing brilliant, it must be amazing during close racing as you can see other cars coming up beside you. Imagine that set up on the 'Ring.

To get at the cockpit menu, go to Options, scroll down to Credits, and then click the left thumbstick. Then scroll down and choose the menu option. You can see what's available there; you obviously need to do this on each box, and you can customise which box powers which display, and what the angle between your front ones is.

As well as left and right, as shown in the pics, you can have one as a permanent replay cam - and you can also have a permanent rear view, so if you've got FOUR lcds... you can look over your shoulder for reals

The instructions you see posted around the net for the multiscreen setup are very vauge indeed. Many times i got a "waiting for render message" were the additional xboxes have problems connecting to the views.

The weird thing is connecting a LAN race creates no such problems but after the testing ive done ive nailed down exactly what to do to ensure multiscreen works. It does however hang occasionally but this is quite rare.

Rear view isnt anything special on a seperate screen, ive tried it.

                    * Did you know
Pulling down on the right analouge shows the rear view on the center/host screen only However on multiple screens "Y" button gives you the rear view across ALL the front 3 views, this is much more effective

Its why i never connected/borrowed a 5th xbox or an additional screen for a seperate rear view and really with so much onscreen at once its a little hard to concentrate on yet another screen.

Any questions you can fire away....

Heres an example showing exactly a problem i think Forza suffers from in that the field of view is too narrow. I also have a friend that is not happy with the height of the tarmac driving views.

The below two cars on the left are not even visible on single screen (centre display) mode and in many occasions collisions with other cars can happen in this game as you simply cant tell on a normal game they are there untill its almost too late. The left right screens probably give you a second or two more warning unless its a very fast approaching car.

PDVD screen cap from video footage sorry about the poor quality.

stop being so defensive. it was a joke. With that superb setup of yours you still aren't happy with thefiel of view.

No i think your getting this wrong.

Firstly doing that setup was a one off its not how i generally get to play the game. What it has shown me is just how much vision is lost on the LR sides, to be fair many people have already complained about cars nudging ramming all im saying is part of this problem is related to the actual games FOV and perhaps that the tracks all seem quite wide in comparison. Its not as if the extra screens add just a little bit left and right to a standard game its the fact that in standard form the view is diminished so much and is only 1/3rd of what the game really uses.

Id agree to a point the game suits people who use the outside view more or perhaps gives them an advantage over those that use the track cams.

Next time i can only hope for manually adjustable FOV

This changes depending on which car you're in.
