      Was playing it ALOT last night when i got home from work.I found when the hulk busters came it the combat seemed to get alot better.I must played for 2hrs but was not progressing in the story i was just having tremendous fun destroying things and taking out the strike force.Plus the amount of moves is staggering.The critical attack moves are just so satisfying

        I'll probably wait for the PAL release anyway as it's not a bad price, ?24.99 at Play.com for example.

          Has anyone played the xbox/cube/ps2 versions and seen if they differ?

              rather worryingly, me and darksteve managed to play this for 4 hours solid, and it was only the demo.

                Well got further now.The feeling of power has not diminished yes enemys have got harder.But with the new abilitys such as picking up tanks and swinging them around (which incidently i just found can be used to bat missiles back )it all balances its self out.I find the sub missions to be very fun my first gold medal in a mission was the one you have to score a field goal by kicking cars.Good way to earn smash points to.As spatial said the new abilitys really make a difference helicopters which i struggled with earlier are now no problem.

                This has been the first game in ages which i played for hours purely because its so much fun.And never really bothered to progress in the story

                  I'm suprised how good the reviews were for the game , all in the 8s/80%.
                  It was fun trying to drag out the demo to last like 10 minutes

                      Bit of an odd question for anyone playing the PAL Xbox version: Is there any music playing on the free-roaming levels? I noticed while wandering about between missions in the city there was no music playing, but there is during the story and side missions. I'm curious as my Xbox can be a little fiddly at times, where it doesn't play music and sound effects in some games from time to time.(it has a Thompson drive - I've heard they can be somewhat problematic) So I'm wondering if the lack of music could be down to my own machine, or that there isn't supposed to be any background tunes in those sections. It's not a major problem or anything, as the game runs fine anyway. Just curious is all.
                      I'm having a blast with the game so far - I'm mostly content to wander around and smash stuff rather than progress through the story missions and whatnot. I love running up the sides of buildings!

                        Nope, only missions have music. Free roaming has nothing but the sweet music of carnage

                          i know its kind of been said already but this has totally surprised me.

                          i was taken with the demo but expected the game to get boring quite quickly but thought i'd give it a punt.

                          guess it really proves the school of game design theory that says it you can get 6 seconds of perfect gamepay going it's the cornerstone for a good game.

                          spent most of this morning on this with my son, not sure who enjoyed it more.

                          class game.

                              I love this game. It's one of the few I've played that if I'm not playing it, I can't wait to get back to it. I'm gobsmacked at the amount of moves Hulk has - whilst fighting some HulkBusters, I legged it up a skyscraper with one of the mechs in pursuit. I grabbed the fecker at the top of the building and the two of us went plummeting back down - all while I'm pummeling the crap out of him.
                              I love lobbing missiles back at the enemies, and their cries of anguish whenever they realise they're done for. Can't wait to swipe planes out of the sky!
