picked up the pal version a couple of days ago. enjoying it emensly, i love the weapon forging system and innocent devils. each particular weapon has different variations on how they are used. for example you have a normal sword and a broadsword and they attack differently, i personally like using the foil type because it is quick. The better the weapon the better the combos they can pull off, i like the combat system, not complicated and easy to get to grips with, its more developed than Lament of Innocents.
The graphics are average and the environments suffer from really bad fog. I think its an enjoyable game and worth a 7 score, certainly doesn't deserve the negativity its getting.
The music is by Michiru Yamane of Symphony of the Night fame, she has brought along another stellar soundtrack. excellent piece of work, i say its better than SOTN's.
The money i paid for it was well spent and i certainly dont regret picking it up, it looks nice in my ps2 collection.
