Oh and during the time travel i got a halo from ables and got fossil worth 100k when sold at Nooks What would you have done if you time travelled to make money?

Hope you kept the halo as it cant be bought from nooks catalogue if you sell it. Theres quite a few items like that.

I think I'd probably end up getting bored of the game pretty quickly if I started changing the dates and stuff.. As it is, I can see myself playing this almost indefinately.

im not sure how exactly they work...you both swap them over, add them to your friend roster and then when your online you go to 'friends' and then it will search to see if they are online?

Was out last night so couldn't see New Year "live". So with a hangover whilst emptying half a large tin of pedigree chum from my rear end down the toilet I sat through the festivities after I changed the DS's clock back.

Pleasantly surprised with the fireworks on the top screen. Alll you got on the Gamecube one was the light from them shining on the characters and on the ground.

Well the JPN & USA versions cant go online together. The uk version isnt out till march so nobody knows yet wether the UK & USA versions will work together online. I have the USA & JPN versions so i can go online in both regions, bit extreme but there you go (^_^)

Kind of weird that animal crossing is so fussy as mario kart DS works with all versions.

Movietyme.com also have it. It was ?23 when I ordered, but I think it's gone up to ?25 for some reason. Anyway, they're UK-based so you'll have it by Thursday I'd say.

By the way, has anyone noticed if an animal is threatening to leave your village, you can just keep asking them to stay and they will? I have Kody as well, but he was all packed up and ready to go. I kept pestering him and he's stayed!

Well theres no communication in Mario kart DS.
Think of all the Japanese people playing trying to figure out what "Welcome" means.
I guess the game could use a in game translator but it'd probably end up wonky.

I think USA and UK will work together, though the time difference may cause problems.
