Okay, I definitely behind the curve here. HRA rates my house a stingy 506 (yes, not 506,000. Just plain old 506 - "you could live there, but who would want to?").

Also, had my first animal leave, a fox/dog called Chief. Didn't particularly warm to him anyway. Sent me a letter to say that it wasn't my fault (mostly).

What are 'oids for? I have a bunch of them now, but have no idea what they are good for....

I have yet to see a turnip.

Fishing is quite lucrative. Get a few football fish and large chunks of my mortage are gone!

Spent most of Saturday night getting my USB dongle working in conjunction with the DS and my firewall. Should be able to go out and see other places soon.

oids can be used as furniture, however, I sell them to nook. You get 828 bells per oid.

The turnips can only be bought from joan, she visits your town on sunday mornings but leaves by 12 noon. Tom nook changes his turnip prices twice a day so keep them till he is buying for more than you paid but they spoil after 7 days.

I found the easiest way to make money is by getting online and get some fruit from other towns that doesn't grow in your village, plant them in your village and a fruit tree will grow. You can sell this fruit at nooks for 500 per piece. I have enough fruit trees to make me approximately 100,000 bells every 4-5 days (however long it takes for the fruit to grow back).

I wouldn't worry about the hra too much, once your house gets bigger you and you get more furniture your rating will shoot up.

As for animals leaving, sometimes if you go into there house and you see all their furniture packed up, you can talk them out of staying (if you want to).

On sunday I spent about 600k on turnips so if your nook starts offering out prices that are superb gimme a shout ;D i need to get the next house size so i can finally get my moon out without it taking up the whole house

I had wee christmas style lights on all the houses last nite as well, was superb didnt expect it and was a nice wee change, i cant wait till the snow starts defrosting, should be soon eh

Ha ha the floor of my house is just turnips and nothing else, its taken up the main room and the whole left hand room

Hopefully it will be worth it as all i need is to get 200 per turnip and ill walk out with 1.2mill

ideally i want the kinda price that vonmanc had last week at 400 I would make nearly 2.5 mill!

Most of the acre my house is in is covered in turnips. Some 6500 or so I think. Oh my HRA rating is 180k+ I think. House looks kinda messy though and the animals only every give me 3 stars beause I have no furniture in my front room. Just plants...

Gonna revamp my town again but I keep saying that and then changing my mind so I probably won't. Bored with Bright Night's already lost the will to play a bit. But that's probably We Love Katamari but I just rolled up the King and Queen and so I think I'm done with that now, hopefully interest in AC will come back.

i'm not liking bright nights much either...it all looks nice enough, but the intrest for me is turning it on to find out whats happening each day, or seeing who i might meet.
this week i know exactly whats going to happen so i havent bothered much.

still havent got round to fixing up my house properly though. the egyptian room is the only one i'm happy with at the moment.
