Can anyone tell me how to dodge a certain enemy attack please?

    In Toad Town

you first meet some white Shroobs (don;t know what they're called) - they have an attack where they hold up flags & then chuck them; I can't for the life of me work out the pattern to dodge them.

    Can anyone help?

Now I've reached Toad Town, I see what you mean about the attacks Geoff D

        Simple solution though...

Whichever flag(s) he holds up, jump with that character. He does five patterns, get them all right and he doesn't chuck them at you.

Daftly enough, it's the attack that requires the most effort to counter and yet does the least damage

Right I'm near the end... and a little stuck...

In the Shroob'ed castle, just activated two of the ray guns to unfreeze the ! block, and jumped in the tube to level 2. However UFOs block the way and I can't get over the wall in the library. Is there a need now to somehow get over the wall in the middle, or do I need to use the other guns first (somehow)?

Just finished this with a fraction over 20 hours on the clock - perfect amount of time for me.

All told it's a great little game - more linear than the first, but there's enough humour & neat touches to keep you involved all the way through; it's a lot of fun which definitely keeps the interest high.

Minor disappointment with the final boss -

Far too easy - if you've got a healthy supply of mix flowers with a few mushrooms for health, she bites the dust without too much hassle. I suppose this is in contrast to the final boss in the first game, which a lot of peopl felt was too tough.

              Great stuff.

Nah, what you wanted to do instead was...

Red pepper + Pocket Chain Chomp. Over 2,500 damage per attack? That'll do nicely sir Yep I was that good at chaining the damn thing, mainly because it only requires you to press two buttons.

Just completed this now - what a thoroughly awesome game, if a little on the easy side. Is it worth picking up Superstar Saga as well?

This game should be out on the 10th of FEB according to Gamefaqs, but it is already out here in Spain, if anyone is interested. Typical Spain, no respect for dates, times etc!

can't wait. Just ordered this. Need something to pull me away from the 360 and this sounds tops. I loved Paper Mario. Much better than any of his platform adventures!

Got the PAL version yesterday heres my impressions.

The impression i get is this game was planned for the GBA but was moved to the DS and they thought dam we have some new buttons to use lets add two more characters. I am very dissapointed that the game is almost a carbon copy of the GBA adventure, enemies that attack in the same ways similar bosses and puzzles that require a team of 4 spliting into a team of 2 rather than 2 splitting.

While the story is good enough so far the game is lacking that sparkle that the first game had.

Also i am confused as to why they felt the need to make it a rumble pack game, it adds nothing to the game what so ever. It would have been nice if they could have had the pack rumble when you walk over a bean.

So far sadly i am not impressed the game is way to easy and as somebody pointed out very liniar which is good for some games but i would like a bit more walking about.

The game is not as well thaught out as the GBA version and sadly falls short in just abouit every area.

I hope it improves otherwise its only a 6/10 from me.

                              UPDATE

The game is not getting any better, i am very dissapointed that only the second game in the series is this crap. Very easy puzzles, easy boss battles, liniar gameplay, patchy story that is all over the shop. Watch out for my copy on the trade forum soon.

This game is pretty good, once i got into it then i couldn't stop playing, but one thing disappoints me though, it only took me 10 hours to complete

I remember that Superstar Saga was at least 20 hours, since PIT was on the DS i was expecting a longer game time.
