    That was quick

I'm onto Mission 3.1 now, taking my time with it an am starting to get used to the controls now.

So the evidence opens up a hidden level, will have to play through again and find them all then after I have finished it once

Just started playing this and so far I'm really impressed. The controls are a little alien at first, but it didn't take long to get into the swing of things. Also it's one of the best looking PSP titles I've seen, the developers have done a sterling job on the visuals front. Looking forward to putting some time into this later.

Picked this up from the States yesterday, played it a little on the flight home, seems very impressive. The visuals are very reminiscent of MGA and Coded Arms, certainly no bad thing.

A question on the controls front: which method do you guys prefer? I can't decide between the Standard and the Advanced.

I used the default controls and found them pretty good

Same default - if it seems awkward at first bare with it - it'll be second nature soon!!

I didn't even know there was another control config...so yeah I'm using default too

Anyway, I'm up to the second episode now, still enjoying it immensely. There's been a couple of ingenius moments that have really impressed me (engineer in ceiling springs to mind). I also like how you see things from your partners perspective, ala Max Payne 2.

Got this a few days ago and have been hammering the single player and online muliti and have gotta say its by far the best PSP game to date. The graphics are great and have a nice solid framerate and the load times are very quick. SP is rather cheesy and cliched but still fun.

Online is just great tho it contains all the features a good online game should like friends list, clans, good lobbys and very nice ragdolls physics which are always satisifing.

finished this today, can't be arsed with online play but the single player was much fun!

                      Bump!

This is available on the US PC store for $15.99 so I couldn't resist picking it up (After reading about Resistance PSP, which is developed by Sony Bend).

Is it just me or does this game capture precisely both the good and bad parts of this system? It looks stunning (Even after all this time), particularly the intro cinematic, but **** me if it doesn't have the most complex control mechanism I've ever touched outside of a PC flight/mech sim. If I were to try and get a non-gamer to play this game they wouldn't have a damn clue where to start!

On the positive side, there's a lot of depth to the control and the combat it seems, so once I have the controls down it should make for an interesting experience.

It's also impossible to play in anything other than ideal lighting (A dark room).

More impressions to follow (I'm sure you'll be thrilled to hear). For my next act of thread necrophilia... PONG!
