Ohhh... this is a big one (well for 360 games it is)
I've been looking forward to this for a while now and my copy arrived today and up til now I've played for about 30 minutes on it in training. Now I have absolutly no idea what any of the text says, but up til now it hasn't been to much of a barrier (bear in mind though I havn't played the main story mode properly yet.)
The game opens with a FMV sequence, which is nice enough. Once on the title screen there 5 different options which I've figured out to be:

Training
I've only had a go at training up to now.
You start as Inphyy (the girl with the red dress and armour) and after being shown a few basic moves by Aspharr (the guy in silver and blue) you get to go up against the first set of soldiers which are conveniently waiting for you in nice straight lines. The main attacks commands are located on the X and Y buttons, with A being jump and the right trigger being dash.
While your slashing away at the enemy they drop red orbs which fill up one of the two meters you have. When its full you activate it using B, this basically lets you just go wild for a few seconds with more powerful and prettier attacks. If you hold B down though it slows things right down and zooms in on you, sort of like slow-mo in Viewtiful Joe.
After decimating the first set of enemies are bunch of stronger guys come charging at you. It was hard to tell how many there were of them, but I'd hazard a guess at about 120 or 130 of them on screen. Much like before using X and Y in varying combinations saw them off pretty quick.
After that you see are 2 sets of soldiers which are on your side. Using the left and right bumpers you are call each one, and then issue commands to them with the d-pad. Left and right on the d-pad seem to issue different configurations in which they run, while downs seems to make them follow you.
All of this took place on a small field area outside of a small castle wall. In the background you could see a small village and some windmills. Main problem was, was that there were invisible walls and tiny verges of grass stopping you getting close to anything remotely interesting. The graphics are nice enough, the detail on the enemies is a less than that of the main characters and they seem to be indent-kit at the moment. The environment looks a little worse then the grassy areas in Kameo. I noticed a bit of pop-up though this patches off grass suddenly appearing. Also the colours seem a little washed out and muddy looking, there is a brightness adjuster in the options menu though. I've only had one issue with slow down up til now and that happened when there were only 2 characters on screen, which was a little odd, but at the more action packed times it ran fine.
Hoping that some of these problems aren't in the main game mode, such as the invisible wall and paitently wainting enemies.
Oh forgot to mention the music which is absolutly stunning. Really beautiful and epic orcastrated score with plently of men and women going "ahhhhhh, ohhhh" etc.
