    Titan quest (PC)

    Picked this up yesterday

First impressions are pretty good the graphics are excellent some really nice water effects and great looking landscapes.Though it appears you cannot rotate the view (thankfully objects turn transparent when you go behind them)

Gameplay is pure diablo. The inventory the combat, collecting items, it feels very similar though the levels are not random which i dont mind at all.

There are no classes to begin with the first time you level up you can then choose what class you want to be.The skill lists again remind me of diablo though they appear to be a bit more extensive

seems pretty decent so far will need to give it a thorough play this week end though

Im also having a wee shot of this just now, im quite impressed with it.

Its very Diablo and I enjoy the skill trees where each time you level you get points to specialise in combat, magic etc.

Ive always been a big fan of ancient greek history so im a sucker for all the harpies and minotaurs and stuff

The graphics are very impressive, especially the attention to detail on the characters, I particularly like the way the grass blows when winged creatures fly over it.

Not usually something I notice but the music is also quite stirring and sets the scene very well, you cant beat some tension eerie music when skeletons start popping out of the ground

Jason and the Argonauts for the win!

Wish there was a auto pickup button like in the game sacred

Did hear people say that random dungeons offer replayability

i really disagree though when you have random levels sure there different layouts but they all pretty much look the same you cannot have landmarks or great views

The actual combat is not quite as satisfying as i had hoped the enemies just fall over once killed and there is no gibbing or hit effects to

Once you get your strength quite high and get some of the "rage" style attacks then you can hit your enemies so hard they kinda fly up in the air towards the screen slightly

Really tempted by this, am a big fan of Diablo.

Can I take the character from single player onto multi?

lv 12 battlemage now, totally loving it!

I ran in with my dual wield swords whacking away and casting flameballs all over the shot, just took out a big cyclops and if the other big bosses are like him ill be well chuffed

              Easily best diablo clone this

I heard that there are a lot of bugs in the game. Has there been any patches to fix this up?

Ah, fair enough. As far as I remember, a few reviews i've come across have marked it down for bugs or glitches and slowdown as you said.

I played through the demo earlier today, enjoyed it so have just bought the full game. You can't continue with your demo char Means I have to replay over an hour at the start. Booo.

I was planning on only playing the demo for a few minutes but somewhat lost track of time! It's a very addictive game

Yesterday I played for a few hours and reached level 7, nearly at 8. Went with Earth has my primary Mastery, not sure what I'll select as secondary when I hit 8.

It was so satisfying when you first reach the section with the undead - there was one area where the whole screen was full with um for a good minute, but they were quite low levels so were just exploded all over the place! I have a constant fire effect surrounding me so anything that gets near takes damage. I must have killed about 50 enemies in the space of ten seconds

Would any of you be up for some multiplayer at some point? With me being such a low level I doubt I could do much, but it may be fun.

Level 14 now, feel my character is uber-powerful against all but the bosses! I can walk into the middle of a battle and everything just explodes around me Quite amusing, especially when I go into rage and the enemies start flying across the screen.

Think I'm about to reach the second last town of Greece. Anyone still playing this?

I have been playing this a bit not to much though

Its a good game but i do prefer dungeon siege 2
