    I turned this on today only to find all of the progress I'd made the other day had gone. Does it need to be saved manually or something? It's a genuine game so I can't see it being a battery problem that pirate games suffer from

      Hmm strange.

      The game automatically saves so you dont need to. You didnt happen to go into the 5th menu did you, as that has the data clear option in there.

        I did go in there once before but I've played the game since and never been back. Oh well, I'll start again and pray it says this time

        edit: Seems to be ok now

          Trying to complete Perfect Campaign stages is actually making my brain bleed, getting 95% of the way through a level only for the lil heart in the corner to pop.. ARGH!

            Anyone know if there's a reward for getting all perfect campaigns? I didn't even realise what the markers were until someone explained it to me today, and whilst I do enjoy this game a lot I'm not sure I can be bothered to perfect every stage (I know some would be a swine, too - the second clapping and marching stages spring to mind) after just going through to get all medals...

              Ok, ill tell.

              With every perfect certificte you get, you will unlock either a letter in the data room. Or in the studio room you can listen to the songs from the game, you can also drum along to the songs. Getting the perfect certificates unlocks the songs & the extra drum sounds in the studio room

              Im now in the process of getting all the perfect campaign certificates as i have gotten medals on all stages so it's my next goal.

                Im just 2 medals away now from completing it, stuck on the marcher & space dance minigames (harder versions)
                Thanks much, think i might purchase this

                  From what i can read on the perfect campaign certificate it says something about a PRESENT when you get all 46, i think. My Japanese ain't perfect though...

                    The present the certificate mentions is what i have put in the spoiler tags of my previous post.

                    The number it says is how many left you have to get.

                    For those stuck on the Marcher game theres 4 commands you need to listen out for.

                    Susume = March (A button)
                    Tomare = Stop (B button)
                    Migi = Right
                    Hidari = Left

                    For those stuck on the Rap men game

                    When he says a sentence & it ends with the following, press A

                    [~ですか?] Desuka? (word in blue) press A once.
                    [~カモネ] Kamone (word in pink) press A twice but with a slight pause.
                    [~サイゴー] Saigo (word in yellow) press A twice very close together.

                    You'll get the timing after a few goes.

                    And for those stuck on the The Ban Odori dancing matsuri girls
                    You need to press A to clap when the yellow word Pan ( ぱ~ん ) is highlighted.

                    The toss boys minigame

                    Theres 3 kids (Akachan / Red girl) (Aokun / Blue boy) (Kiiyan / Red boy) when you hear them say the name of a kid thats who they are going to throw it to next.

                    I think thats all of the trickier ones taken care of.

                      Got this on Saturday, loving it so far...

                      But I'm stuck on the third ladder - The Trampoline Mini-game, what are you supposed to do? Your guy jumps up and down and you press A to transform into different characters.

                      I thought you were supposed to imitate the guy on the left but that doesn't seem to be getting me through.

                      Any help would be much appreciated.

                        You have to make them both fully transform. By pressing the button at the height of their leap. If you get the timing off they only half transform.

                        Press the + pad to make the one on the left (Toran) transform & press A to make the one on the right (Porin) transform.

                        Thats all there is to it.

                            Discovered somthing else thats pretty cool.

                            When you drum along to the songs you can then save your preformance to the cart, theres a bar along the bottom of the screen which shows you hom much save space is left

                            Looks like those drumming lessons are going to come in useful in the menu (^_^)
