Canis Canem Edit (Bully) PS2

Anybody else picked this up? Got a copy through from Gameplay this morning and have had a quick look at it. Initial impressions are that it has that Rockstar polish to the presentation, with the graphics and audio seeming particularly good for a PS2 game. Just looking through the list of stats and tasks it seems like there is going to be a lot of fun had with all the mini-games that are crammed in. It has a definite 'feel' to it and reminds me of Skooldaze. Which is nice.

I got a copy but haven't played it yet, my brother has though. I told him my memory card doesn't work properly yet he played it for aorund 10 hours straigth :|

He got depressed when he couldn't save and had to switch off

He played it again and completed it in around 2 days, but this time he got a memory card.

I will have to try it soon, but I don't want to switch on my PS2 >_<

the load times in the game are monstrous, it makes my ps2 sound like its choking to death. anyone else getting this?

No more so than any other GTA game and I have a first gen PS2 as well.

It's a Rockstar PS2 game so there's more chance of hell freezing over.

The detail beats any GTA but the frame rate in parts is hopeless

Got this today (although it'll be going back as Play sent me a brand new shrinkwrapped version that had marks and scratches on the disk!!)

Works with HDLoader, load times are great. Havn;t notice any hopeless frame rate problems either. Game is pretty fun so far, stuck on the Save Algie mission, where the heck is the other wash room? is it the ladies?

I just done that mission, follow the radar, the toilets he uses are upstairs of the main school lobby bit, there should be a triangle marked on your radar

I'm loving this, its such a breath of fresh air for videogames

load up the game today for a nice redecoration of the boys dorm... it must be a clock based thing rather than pure fluke there's the change

I'm really enjoying this too at the moment and I've heard that it gets much better after you get off the opening chapter, which is just for training really.

I really enjoyed that bit too, particularly liked the Karate Kid style skeleton costume!

I'm on chapter 2 now, and can go into town etc. Really enjoying this so far - I find the GTA games a bit overwhelming, whereas this is more focused but still with that sandbox feel. Feels odd when you run past a car and can't steal it!
