If its anything like the Big Fat Hairy Bodyguard I've come across so far (missus) then it'll fill every homoerotic need your heart could desire (should you be so inclined).

I still can't help but laugh every time Tingle stoops down to gather up dropped rupees.

I never realised I had a homoerotic need. I realise now that there has been a void in my life and hopefully this game will.

Unless, you know, some man-sausage does first.

On the back it says in colourful letters "Still single at 35, Tingle sets off on a search for happiness!"

The exact same thing happened to me. I was totally, hopelessly wooed by the glorious packaging and quirky blurb.

I'm yet to give it some serious hammer, but from what I've seen it looks grand. The art-style is lovely, and it uses the two screens to add scale to the backgrounds, which not many DS games do. I'm hoping for lots of awesome Zelda fan-service. Guess I should go and play it

I'm on the second isle now and am so far finding this a wee bit tedious. It's still making me chuckle in places, there's lot of incidental animations for most characters that are fantastic. Such as the lady/fish behind the sewing machine in town, who makes me giggle every time I walk past. So far though, the actual game is very boring. My main gripe is that you're constantly having to donate unspecified amounts of rupees to folks that may or may not be of any help.

For me that was overtaken yesterday when I got the construction worker to complete the bridge back to the first area.

That was some serious and furious crotch thrusting right there

Err I haven't played a game in like 8 months properly and this is the first I've played I've got seriously rubbish at playing games. I'm stuck already and I've only been playing it for like 20 minutes.

                I'm stuck in

the dungeon that you find inside the hero statue on the first map, where you've got two blocks that move a scale. But the scale only goes to the first notch, and I've got no idea how to weigh it down. I've not had the second battle lesson yet to I can't seem to beat anyone in the hope that the rupees will way it down. I can't see/or know of a weight of dropping anything on the scales to open the door.

                Can someone help

                Cheers

Someone heavier will bring you up a few notches. Have a look around the dungeon and see if you can find a buddy

edit: beaten by Mr Thang, but for an exact answer:

                    You need to

employ the services of the big weighty bodyguard in the dungeon to help you weight it down.

Go down the steps from the scale gate (where the bats are) and head left - he should be there propped up against the wall.

Anyone else wish there were more Tingle voice samples in this? His voice is his best feature. Well, that and the red undies.

I still think it's criminal he wasn't in Twilight Princess.

Blatantly a homage to Hard gay

Thats why i like it so much, it's humor is just a bit twisted. It's not the normal kind of stuff you see from nintendo, it's just weird

I've said this on other forums but it's worth repeating. Tingle should definitely be in the new Smash Bros. He'd be the best character by far.

What do you do after beating the first dungeon? None of the townsfolk will take any more cash from me. The waterfall just takes everything and nowt happens, same as Rupeeji's pondy thing next to my house.

                              Baffled.

Its been a while but to get to the second island you will need to raise the tower, by feeding it rupees.
