Just had my first quick play and i need to do some rewiring in my head, I keep spinning the camera th wrong way, whether I invert the axis or not! But a great 15 mins or so none the less! Ran out of ammo on my second pitched battle, so now i know to shoot blind a little less...

It also looks better than the SE DVD picture.

Nige's top tip is on the money - Get your video setting changed to "vibrant" - what a difference.

2v2 was so much fun earlier - I can't wiat to try out the 4v4 and have just finished Act1 twice on hardcore (with 2 different mates).

Props to shopto for getting this to me so quick and I think it has been said already but this is easily game of the year.

Step right up for the 360 Killer App.

Agree totally, this is now Microsoft's killler app for their console, well once the Halo Trilogy is over and even Halo 3 will have it's work cut out against this!

Considering it's Tuesday there's a serious number of NTSC-ers playing this on my friends list tonight

Good to know that we're living the dream !!! 8)

                great stuff

props to shop.net for providing an excellent service, ordered mine on Monday, got it Tuesday morning.

Played it all day, started on Hardcore, and am loving every moment of it. Feels like the right difficulty setting for me. Played some co op and ended the day with some crazy multiplayer.

Very satisfied with the game, make sure you grab urs on Friday!!

                  My first impressions are "wow".

I was doing the training mission and got a chat invite from EvilBoris. I then invited him and then he was next to me... I know I had read that is what happens, but I was still very pleasantly surprised.

After teaching me the basis of cover, we headed out to play Vs. I set up a server and soon it was 4v4 Warzone (lots of NTSC-ers) cycling through the maps. It took 2 hours (!) to play a first to 3 game on all the maps. Each map was different, and although no one had much idea of the layouts, it was still great fun.

I then tried split screen just to see how it looked. My wife picked up the controls (she had come as I played Vs and was enticed by the prettiness of the levels). Split screen has no loss of detail at all. Amazing.

Loving this so far. Started it last night on Hardcore and finding it very challenging. Sometimes a bit too much Played as far as end of Chapter 1 I think when something just made me feel uneasy and **** me pants

Had a little go on the multiplayer. Like it, but I need more practice. Finding it hard to deal with players that are close lol. I know I gots a chainsaw, but I find I just panic at times trying to shoot them and find it hard shooting a moving target which is fairly close. So, I must practice more. An intense experience tho.

Question: Can I have multiple game saves? i.e. My single player campaign and say a separate campaign for co-op?

It does not seem so. When you finish a chapter in an act it then opens that chapter for replay at any time, but you can only have one save part way through a chapter whether single or coop. Hope that makes sence

Had nightmares on coop last night with voice. Could not hear the guy I was cooping with, which made the experience thoroughly ****. Many reboots later and voice kicked in. No idea if this was a crack in the game, or just some wierd system fault.

Due to this only made it part way through act 4. Game was back on form in that act though, and looking forward to possibly wrapping the whole thing up tonight !

Anybody who has a live account and plays this game single player should be shot.

                          That is all.

Seriously - there's no excuse for it - You can see when you play co-op that it was designed to be played that way - Several points last night where flanking strategies were the way to go - Drawing a Seated Gunners fire towards one of you whilst the other gets a clear side on or behind shot on him.

I played with the AI yesterday not even to the end of the training before kicking co-op into gear and I don't want to/refuse to go back to it.

                              T'is the only way.

I'll see you at the Clocktower later this evening Hoola we can discuss then 8)

You're right, but seeing as I just got it, I want to take my time in getting the hang of it. Possibly something I can't do in co-op as they may get bored of me just jumping about in an empty cleared zone. I do plan to go co-op with me mate who is coming round today and I'm sure it will make the experience an even bosser one. Playing it on my own doesn't make me a bad person tho?

                                PS. I prefer "Hools"
