If thats the case it's gonna be nearly impossible to get the achievement without going through it all again! Unless you can remember where you joined and start that chapter again...

from dcemu.co.uk
In a interview with Planet Gears of War, Epic Games Vice President Mark Rein reveals that there will (hopefully) be a Gear of War Patch before Xmas
"The first update we do will be some housekeeping to take care of a few things we need to adjust. We hope to have that in the pipeline before too long. Unfortunately the certification group at Microsoft shuts down relatively early in December so we?re racing against the clock to try to get it finished and certified for release through the Xbox Live update system. Judging by all the great Xbox360 games that have been released recently these folks deserve to have a great holiday season!"
When asked about will bugs like the squished aspect ratio on non-widescreen VGA monitors, be fixed he said:
"It has already been fixed and we plan to ship it to users as part of that first housekeeping update I talked about earlier. We?re also fixing a few minor problems and making a few small changes and improvements. I don?t want to go into too many details because we have not finalized the update but once we know what made it in, and passed certification, we?ll put some news up on our forum which I?m sure will start other passionate threads about what we have/have not gotten around to so far. There is more to come for this game in the future."

Finished it last weekend. Enjoyed it a lot - the pacing is off at times, but the basic mechanic is phenomenally satisfying.
RAAM took me about 20 attempts, on hardcore; first time I killed him, I blindfired a grenade and took us both out - watched some of the ending cinematic with the full-dead COG logo in the screen. And then I did it again. Torque Bow and Longshot FTW.
Now getting bags out of online - I really enjoy the pace.

Speaking of Insane level tips, last night I discovered you can take out a Troika gunner with two shot's to his left leg (assuming you have the sniper rifle) even when he's facing directly at you, handy if you can't easily flank down either side (bloody hate the Kryll on Chapter 2).
Please don't tell me this is already common knowledge, I've spent fair bit of time taking out the Troika's on Insane.

I've found the easiest way to kill on insane throughout the SP campaign is using the locust hammerburst rifle. Make sure its active reloaded and those triple fire rounds can drop an locust to his knees quicker than anything else I've found in the game.
I've finished it solo on insane now and it was a blast. Only a couple of choke points for me, that top bit in the mansion where you defend the frontal assault and of course RAAM. I found him easy to beat in the end once I noticed a few more things... on insane I beat him with the torque bow + lancer... yes I ditched the sniper rifle.
If you make a run for him right of the start and get to one of the cubes close to him for cover this is the best place to take him out. The reason being is he is slow to circle the cube so you can always detach and move to the opposite side from him quickly and re-attach.
I literally stood less than a metre away from him the entire time, fully protected and just arrows and grenades to remove the kryll and then blind lancer fire to take him down. Took all of 2 minutes to kill him in the end after some 50-60 attempts previous.

Small thing though
It'd also be nice if the nade tagging could be balanced a little. At the moment it's possibly the cheapest and easiest ways to kill an opponent i've encountered in an online shooter. It can't be working as intended.

Another decent tip is when it comes time to face the Reaver`s. Instead of getting on the Troika`s, hide round the boxes and shoot either the rider or the passenger in the face with the Longshot and the Reaver will drop straight away.
Finally my tried and tested strat for Raam (insane). Pretty much the standard strat that most of you should know. I`m not a fan of the Torque Bow but it is your friend here.
Take the maxed Torque Bow and Longshot and head through the door. Hide behind the first wall as normal. Unload Torque Bow into Raam and blind toss grenades on approach. When using Torque Bow, make sure that you charge the bow up in cover and then pop out with left trigger when charged enough to stick. When Raam gets very close to your position hop over the wall and roadie run to the wall at the opposite end of the train. This is a pivitol moment in the battle, if you make it to cover you are in a strong position to defeat Raam.
Once behind the second wall use any remaining Torque Bow rounds. When spent, head towards and behind the raised area with the Troika on it but DO NOT GO UP THE RAMP!! This area is well lit so the Kyrll won`t give you a problem. Equip the Longshot and edge up the ramp enough so that you have a view of Raam and unload the Longshot into his face, providing that you had a good success rate with the Torque Bow it won`t take long for Raam to be breathing his last.
Good luck!

Got this, along with my shiny new 360, a few days ago. I never thought I would get a 360, or play a tactical war porn game, but here I am.
All I can say is WOW. Even the wife made a comment about the visuals, and she hates games really. Just....astonishing. And the gameplay seems just about arcade-y enough to draw me in, things are looking good. Along with Dead Rising, the 360 and this masterpiece are slowly stealing my Twilight Princess and Okami time.
I am a big old hypocrite, I know - but who cares - Gears of War is awe-suuurm dude!!!!

I too just got a 360 and GoW. I suck. Big time! I've never had much of a problem with any 1st or 3rd person shooter before but I just cannot aim quick enough in this game and I'm really struggling to hit anything at all. I've only been playing for about half an hour but I can't even get past the very first open section in casual. I'm thinking it's just not the game for me but it looks fantastic so I'll give it the benefit and keep slugging away for a few more hours.
