    Wii Sports

Simple mini games they may be but I'm having a lot of fun with this so far and I love how the Mii's are incorporated into the game as your on screen player. I know we've seen it in the videos but it's a nice touch when you get to see it on first hand.

Tennis is fun, even though it's not 1:1 movement it's still really great to play.

Golf is good once you master it.

With Bowling it's a little too easy to get a strike once you suss it.

Baseball (which I think has made me pull my shoulder ) is a little bit hit and miss (ho-ho) as they can catch you out far too easily. That said its easy enough to get your own back and pitch the ball so fast they never see it coming

Boxing's a laugh but you will look a nutter swinging and thrusting at the TV.

Love the sort of Brain Training feature which tells you how fit you are. Currently I'm 65 years of age

Nintendo couldn't really have bundled a better game to show off the fun of the Wii controller.

What kind of options do you get in each game? I heard about the bowling mode having an option where it keeps adding pins with every ball thrown, so you eventually end up with loads to knock down..just wondering what the other games have.

No online play in any Wii games just yet, Pokemon will be the first and I think that's due out the end of december in Japan with no western release announced yet. Just like the DS don't expect any online play off-the-bat, let the online service get the kinks ironed out before we see online games like Smash Bros

That sounds like the Fitness training mode. You get a set number of balls and have to knock down a progressive number of pins.

The tennis one of these is just return as many of the 50 balls without missing or getting them out and the baseball one is hit as many homeruns as you can from a set number of pitches.

There is also the normal training mode for each sport which gives you specific targets, but I haven't had time to play much of that yet.

Quite enjoyed the quick play I had of this. Boxing seemed a bit rubbish, not really much to it.

Tennis I was lame at. I kept hitting it out! It's cool hitting lobs, etc though. I think with some practice that'll be ace.

My nephew was having some trouble putting in golf. The remote wasn't picking up his swing too well. Dunno if that's a problem, have to give it a go myself!

EDIT: Is there a way to quit the Fitness training mode? I never noticed the lack of a start button on the remote until I tried to quit that, and couldn't find a way to pause!

LOL Wii sports should have had online play, man - playing tennis online in particular would have been great!

Gonna have to wait for Animal Crossing in addition to the games you mentioned. Playing Super Mario Strikers online on the Wii would be a great laugh - I thought the gamecube Original wasn't a bad game.

I can't get the hang of spin in bowling at all. Whichever way I twist the controller, it always spins into the left gutter!

I've only had a chance to play Tennis and bowling at the moment. I can see me getting fitter playing this! Boxing is excellent, I was cracking up laughing waving my hands in the air!!

Hold the + button for a second I think.

My impressions are that Tennis is a bit bobbins, I'm sure it will be more fun in multiplayer though (only have 1 Wiimote atm). Golf is great, only 9 holes but it will tide me over until Pangya lands in Dec. Bowling is a bit easy as Spatial says but no to the extent you're getting 300 games so MP is still fun. Not really tried Baseball or Boxing yet.

Played them all breifly last night. Agree with tyler that Tennis was a bit meh, I didn't relly seem able to fully control the direction of shots. May come good with practice.

Bowling was decent enough, especially being able to add spin as required. Boxing is a riot, though I had some difficulties adjusting the height of my punches. Baseball - the batting side seems totally spot on, though I felt the pitching left a little to be desired. Don't think it was possible to change the aim of your pitch, though you could add spin with the press of a button.

Golf - absolutely fantastic! I played this last of the 5, and it really did convince me 100% that the remote is going to be a massive success. The feel of the swing was magnificent, I always felt in total control of my shot. It really had the Mario Golf 64 vibe to it as well which was an added bonus

Tried Tennis in Good Food Show at NEC today. Not bad but it feel weird for me to play with remote controller.
