I probably gave up on this too early on, tried playing it on Realistic and died - a lot.

Are the extra VIP assassination modes and the levels worth it?
I guess 800 points is about NZ$14.00? If you have a group of people that you play with regularly I reckon it's worth getting. Or try and catch the NTSC crew on a weekend (allowing for time zones).

I hope the sequel doesn't have trigger points for enemies to pop in - that is, all the levels should be completely populated from the beginning.
Is a mission disc/dlc likely, for the "to be continued"? Would be cheaper, and a quicker turnaround than a full sequel, no? And hopefully cheaper!

besides the fact that the random triggering of enemies works still great for the Terrorist Hunt, it's ultimately very disappointing for a next gen tactical shooter. with so much next gen power at hand it should be possible to leave trigger points and scriptinmg behind and offer smarter, more reactive AI.
