Had a go of this at ATEI today and its brilliant. Its a bit like Time crisis where you have to pop out from under cover (which can be destoryed, leaving you exposed). Its a sorta 3rd person first person shooting game. The game plays on a horizontal level. With you only being able to move left and right between set pieces of cover. You have two pedels on the floor, allowing you to move left and right and hide behind cover. To pop up, just point your gun at the screen.
When you are shooting someone, if you hold the aim without shooting, you zoom in, allowing you to get headshots which cause a huge amount of damage to your rival. I only saw the one player of this but played the two player. Two player was basically a quick draw game, who ever shot first and used cover wisely won. But it could be extreamly tense with two good players. The single player looked a lot more fun, with you having to destroy cover and objects to take down enemies in set scenes.
Graphically its rather nice too, frame rate seemed a tag sluggish but it oozes style (mainly on the 2D scenes) and has loads of debris and bits of wall exploding about the place. The 2D scenes are really well done, a nice style has been applied to everything and the colour scheme (yellow and black) works really well.
On this version the game always showed a cross hair, and with that in mind a wii version would be loved! It seemed everyone who played it really enjoyed it.
