Good man. I'm fond of crispy corpses via Force Storm myself. Yes, super light with dark side powers.

Why, when you choose a class, do Scouts and Soliders have only 10 charisma. It's much more important than that. And they insist on rubbish feats when you really want doubled-handed weapon fighting and the superb flurry. Go Master Flurry! The same goes for Rapid Shot.

My last character, a female Sith, at the end of the game, had the following stats:

          Jedi Guardian - Level 15
          Soldier - Level 5

          Vitality - 240
          Force - 130

          Armor Class - 26

Using a double-ended red lightsaber my modifiers were:

          Damage Left - 12-37
          Damage Right - 12-37

          To Hit Left - +32
          To Hit Right - +34

          STR - 24 +7
          DEX - 20 +5
          CON - 14 +2
          INT - 10 0
          WIS - 15 +2
          CHA - 10 0

Re. The Bastila thing - I'm surprised so many people are unable to get through to her, I had no problems first time round and I didn't even do the romance sub-plot.

I can't say for sure but I think completing her side quest may have a fair degree of influence on her final decision. Reconcile her with her mother and it's just a question of picking the obvious responses without the need for the romance one or a Persuade option; have her argue with her mother and abandon her, and you could well need superhigh Persuade to stand a chance...

              Durham Red,

Would you mind using spoiler quotes for stuff like that in future?

I figured the post was just vague enough in terms of the event it refers to ensure that it wasn't needed. It's not like I said

Taking Dark Side powers while totally light uses up far too many force points. Usually takes an extra 30 or so, which is why you are better sticking to the light side ones when being a good two shoes!

As anyone else noticed that Bastila's voice is done by the women who plays Dev's new girlfriend in Coronation Street?

That's Taris for you. I never understand why the worst places are always at the start, like Midgar in FFVII, and rubbish old Taris. All the good stuff happens afterwards, especially when you get good old HK-47.
Funny you say that because for me it's the complete opposite. I haven't completed Kotor yet but I have been to Corescant (sic) plundering the tombs (pretty cool)and just defeated the sand people on Tattooine without the seemingly useless HK-47 (party got killed so often that I was forced to change HK for the catwoman) but so far I enjoyed Taris the most. I actually got so bored on Tatooine that I stopped playing it last week and finally started on Xenosaga. Which reminds me, Kotor needs more cutscenes

Likewise Midgar is probably my favourite environment in FF7.

How can people complete this game in less than 30 hours. I'm on my second planet from Dantooine, and I'm 30 hours into the game... In all fairness I'm taking it quite slow on purpose, and I did leave the console on pause for about an hour once... but I really can't see it.

There is soooooooo much you can do, and many different ways to do it... I'm currently juggling a few files and doing certain pieces of the game one way, saving then doing them another...

30 hours... what are they doing, skipping out half the game?

No worries mate I'm not over sensitive about spoilers but I do enjoy experiencing the "twist" on my own time so to speak!

Ahhhhhhhh, I did it. I got all the way to Dantooine and became a Jedi without having to get past level 2 as a Scout. I had to leave the Bendak quest unfinished, as he was just too hard on my own, but that's okay. There are plenty of XPs to be had, and it is so nice to have all these levels to go up in as a Jedi.

[Cartman]It is so very very sweet.[/Cartman]

Anyway, I'm glad I made it.

The important question is what Jedi class will you be?
