Haven't played much, but don't expect SCEA Santa Monica to have reinvented the wheel with Kratos' new adventure; it's business as usual if your familiar with the first one. But, like it's predecssor, it wastes absolutely no time in molly coddling you through a tutorial process.
Nope, GOW2 basically tells you to get your **** together and take down one of the finest opening boss battles, since the Hyrda! It's epic! Huge! And to think, this is being done through last-gen hardware.
Like before, GOW2 utilises a concoction of QTE, puzzle elements and of course, action mechanics. The opening battle really is probably the most impressive gambit I've seen so far this year!
I'm savouring this, so probably going to play a bit here and bit there... till the weekend.
