Got my copy from work this morning, utterly fantastic. I always played the demo copy in work, but I never had a PS2 at home.

Pity they picked one of the **** Rancid songs... They should of picked Time Bomb...

I dont get it, how can you plug a headset in if you cant even do online play!? Whats the point? Or is online, like I go then you go, etc?

We may find out in future eh? I imagine it's only use right now is to send voice messages as you do on XBL.

There's also another port for an effects pedal.

Just picked mine up now and gonna have a quick go before I get on with some coursework! I thought I would post a pic of the contents and the sexy looking guitar......and Yoshi yes there is a headset port towards the bottom of the guitar.

I played GH2 on the Xbox 360 this afternoon and there is one thing that bothers me is the guitar itself. After using the one on the PS2 for such a long time, the new design/style is a bit awkward and chubby but I'm sure I will get use to it.

Really, it is just Guitar Hero on the Xbox 360; nothing particularly new.

I like guitar heroes 1 & 2 on PS2. How is the graphics for XBOX 360 on HDTV ? is it worth spending the money for the game ?

Agreed - But they've tweaked it nicely - The graphics look INCREDIBLY sharp now - Check out Lars armbands - the detail is nuts !

Soundwise I get what Nonny was talking about even though i'm playing in stereo thru the TV just now - The crowd seems more reactive to what you're doing, the vocalist talks to them - the little things

As for the guitar - mixed really - At first it seemed clunky then as soon as I tried a track on HARD I realised they've moved the buttons closer together which (for me at least) makes shifting to orange and back MUCH easier.

BUT - I find that I keep hitting the guide button when I get too involved in a tune (never realised before but I must "lean back" on the guitar - so I hit it. I'm of the opinion just now that I need to plaster somethign over it to stop this - it's very annoying !!!

Achievements seem really well thought through !

No tracks on MP at the moment - Now you go to the shop where you'd buy tracks and there's a download option - dunno if that'll require in-game currency as well as MP points ><

Think of it like getting a graphics card upgrade on your pc - On my HDTV it has gone from what I thought was ok to "Jesus" - Maybe the detail was always there but you'll certainly see it now !

Yes.

More so I'd say - Due to the HD image !! Your eyes are constantly distracted by what's going on in the background because it's so much clearer !

Oh man im getting tempted to pick this up.

Never played it before though - do you need to be standing with the gutiar to use it comfortably? Only i do most of my gaming sitting on the end of the bed.
