Didn't spot the advert... wasn't sure now whether to hold off and get that instead

//goes off to check his reg card

Chase HQ is lovely, just a pity you don't get the "let's go Mr Driver!"

played Operation Wolf and its different to what i've played in the past

          its arcade perfect (imo)

but you only get a choice of 4 levels, after completing what would be the UK level 2 you get a boss guard holding and hiding behind a prisoner

one you get a few shots in (like end end of op thunderbolt) he gives up the whereabouts of the POW camp

once you complete the POW camp level 6 opens up and you can escape

          smashing game as always

as for Mr driver, it could be there (mr drivero san) but since all the language is in Japanese i will never know

I thought this compilation only had 'Chase H.Q 2 - Special criminal Investigation 'on it. Is Chase HQ a hidden extra as I prefer it to the sequel.

Haven't played my copy yet but I'm guessing it has the music from Darius and The Fairyland Story like the PSP version? Those are better tunes anyway

All the speech is in Japanese of course...

As for the 4 disc box thingy, it looks like just the box will be available to buy, not sure if any game discs come with it (anyone translate the text?)...

Regarding Op Wolf, I sometimes got the hostage rescue as well on arcades here in the UK. Likewise after level 1, sometimes you'd get a bonus stage to earn extra ammo, a still screen with about 4 copters and several men and lots of coconuts to shoot...

will need to try Mame - just never seen it

normally on the uk version all 6 routes are there and you automatically work you way through them

i never tried it but technically you might only need to do 3 stages and the game could be finished

                      Route 1 as it were

Damn, assuming this is the last collection I guess they're totally passing over RayCrisis.

Not cool Taito people, not cool.

Honestly, I'm only really interested in checking out Part 2 Joukan, there don't seem to be many games I want to try in the other ones (outside of Akkanvader, anyway) Any recommendations to help change my mind?
