Does she have levels interspersed through the story or is it a separate campaign? I didn't think much of her in the demo either, so it's good to know that she's better in the final game.

Just went for a jpn copy of this want it nowwww hehe can live without decaps. So rachel has proper levels sweet i thought she was just a special add on in the arena type game.

Yeah, her levels are part of the main game and not a separate side quest as I was expecting. Works well too, the change in pace.

Wasn't the PAL Ninja Gaiden cut? They may have restored decapitations for Black but I never played that version so I don't know. Having been playing it on the 360 I know that the human characters weren't decapitated, although fiends were.

I did however finish the Xbox version today. Now begins the wait for NG2

is the extra content worth a purchase when i already own Black? and are there improvements in terms of gameplay, e.g. camera, controls, difficulty spikes?

if you want my advice.. yeah its HD & with a few extras but you already know what to expect from the game and NG Black still looks rude. I would wait for NG2 - next gen + new game.

It does look nice but you will get over this fairly quickly.

If you must then buy this on the cheap!

I played the original NG on the XBox to death when it was first released so it has been a few years since I played NG. Suppose that is why the demo felt so fresh and why I am so excited about getting the full game

Visually, it is fantastic and when compared side by side with the XBox versions there is a noticeable mark-up, but if you have been all over Black recently then Sigma wont hit you as hard as the price tag would lead you to believe I think.

Of course, there are some nice additions with new weapons (Double swords, yeeha) and sections where you play as Rachel so it really does depend on how much you love your NG and how long ago you played the original or black.

For me, Ninja Gaiden in HD, with new levels, weapons and spanking visuals?? Its a no brainer!!

I got my PS3 only 2 weeks ago so it is coming at a perfect time with Resistance campaign near enough polished off and Motorstorm used as an alternative to Forza even just controlling Ryu using the Six Axis was a pleasure, should make the more intricate boss dances a bit easier.

PAL release is looking like 06 July. If it stays to that I will be happy cause that will give AC4 and The Darkness some breathing space before I lose myself in my ninja training all over again

Are Rachael's stages played out on new levels or are they the old ones from the original game?

Picked up the EU version this morning - got a big 18+ on the front - and no de-caps on the human ninja's as of yet..blood galore just like the demo though.. all in all - Lovely...

I got the US one today. Soon as I started I charged an ultimate technique for the first enemy. Sliced his head clean off

Good news, can live without the decaps in ninjas in the PAL version TBH, but good reports on the blood and rating, nice.
