its easy in the demo because it is set to easy, plus you are playing with a maxed out Tiger Woods - the full game is much harder (its easier to hook/slice the ball meaning you can't switch off when taking a shot - you need to give the game your full concentration).

The actual game is brick solid, I love it. Online is great and the learning curve is pretty steep. Putting is hard, close to the hole is harder for me than further away.

As JB said when your playing it demands full concentration.

However if you like it easy you can just go tiger all the time

Edge of Insanity just said what I was gonna say. Just played it now (PS3) and it felt so flat. Yoshi's post was quite instructive - he seemed to enjoy the presentation but the controls were not great. Surely that IS the game?
I assume the X360 version is better as on PS3 it seemed quite jerky and the ball physics don't seem right, ball bounce feels very odd.

Played some more last night - it's aces. I'm worried now about having this & MNG5 because I can see Tiger going on every time now because there's just so much to do - I'd started the PGA thing but wasn't enjoying it that much but the tiger challenges are fantastic - played the old man last night and it was a hoot

That's worrying about the PS3 version - It's pretty damn silky on 360 all the way EA Sports titles have pretty much faltered all round on PS3 this year it seems.

Got this yesterday and its been really good so far, made my character with the vision cam and it turned out ok.

Its really challenging especially early on with an unskilled character, im always last on any of the tournements but the gap is getting smaller and im getting better.

Anyone playing this online much, I have yet to try it out but it looks like it could be good.

It's great online runs really, really well.

I'm now swaying towards MNG5 to be honest though - I'm finding the swinging really annoying and the 3 click method is pants.

To be honest, after playing the demo I was really put off this. It's just so dull and soulless compared to Mingol5. The commentators were EXTREMELY annoying and the two shot methods.... The three press method was ruined by the fact that it moves so fast it's nearly impossible to get a perfect shot and the swing method just got on my nerves.

I actually prefer the first Game Boy golf game over this and it seems EA are just churning out the yearly drivel.

Who needs realism when the game isn't fun?

I have the 07 version for the 360 and the only thing I don't like is that you cannot save mid round.
Has this been changed in the 08 version?
