Operation: Vietnam DS

Damn this is good,

Reminds me of cannon fodder mixed with Commando. Your basically in charge of a few guys in the middle of vietnam and you have to perform various missions. THe play is top down with 3d maps which work pretty as you wander around the jungle shooting the VC.

It actually reminds me a wee bit of commandos as well as youve got medics, snipers etc all of which you can command and also gain control of for their special abilities.

Smoke grenades can be used to smoke out the bad guys as well.

All in this is a good wee game that feels very retro to me and I would recommend it, especially as you can get it for 12 quid from vg plus just now

The title suggested a DS version of Operation (you know, where you take out the organs) but with a slightly tasteless Vietnam theme.

Ha ha aye although sadly theres not been any missions involving removing shrapnel from the enemy yet
