    Spiderman Friend or Foe Demo

This is about as generic as generic can be.

Standard 3D platformer/combat game where you control Spidey and a sidekick as you punch and jump your way through incredibly bland environments.

Guess what, you cannot climb walls or swing on your web as Spidey. What a joke.

It is almost exactly the same as the TMNT game by Ubi but worse looking.

Having said that, I am sure that this game isn't meant for the NTSC-UK user base and is instead meant for kids and in that respect it ticks all the boxes. Colourful despictions of the Spiderman characters, hop skip and jump through the levels with a fair amount of ease whilst indulging in basic combat.

I'm sure five year olds will love it but there isn't much there for us (except easy achievements).

I've just finished the demo and i was suprised at how much fun i had......plenty of different move combos to learn and the game goes at a fast pace, keeps you on your toes...the story behind it is pretty solid...some of the cut-scenes were really nicely done...plus its made for co-op (which you can try in the demo or in single player you just change from character to character whenever you please, you start as spiderman and venom in the demo)

It's got that crackdown look to it too....another online cop-op treat on the way?

I'd say so....it does help that im a huge spidy fan i suppose tho!

Yes, I guess that is pretty poor.....maybe your get that option to do so in the later stages or the game? Probably wishful thinking.....

Check the Move lists in the pause menu, you web swing by holding A in. You can wall jump on it and use your web to attach to walls.

I thought the demo was surprisingly good fun. I'll probs pick this up when it is budget price for a laugh.

I like it how you describe it as a child's game but can't actually figure out the controls.

As a throwaway bit of gaming I quite enjoyed this in a bland inoffensive kind of way (and pretty much what I was expecting from it). It certainly looks a damn site better with that stylised approach than the last 360 game that had Spiderman in it

Like AYB I think I'll pick this up when it becomes cheap enough.

Just fired this up there... when is the full game available for download from the market place??

Yeah, Spidey can swing about in his nice confined area and yes he canattach to walls as part of a move but what good is it playing a Spiderman game that jumps back about 4 years in terms of Spiderman mechanics... Spiderman can actualy die from falling down between 2 buildings in this WTF.

Glad I tried the demo to see what a hum drum little beat-em up this is. Overly simple desingn that could be fun in co-op but unless it is a budget title I dont think it will be setting any fires alight.
