Just looking at a few peps stats includding my own, and it would seem we've all dropped back to the rank we were at, before the game recording all went haywire on Bungie.net around the 4th of October. Maybe they have to take it back again, before they then update the games for those missing dates, which will then bring things back inline with the box.Originally posted by El Leone View Post

Thats not your level. Thats your skill grade, It goes by how good a player you are, it decreases if you lose a couple of games. I have seen some players with a skill rank of 11+. I'm only a 7 myself, I only play team games mind, most of my losses are due to idiotic people not sticking to a team. The grades are your experience level from what i understand, im only a corporal grade 2. I seriously need to play it some more. If I want to go back to previous missions to gets skulls do I have to start the mission from the very start or can I start at a later checkpoint?Comment

You need to start from the start of the level or from the resume campaign option on the main menu. You cannot choose rally point A etcComment

I had a few awful games online where I got absolutely trounced. One just wasn't fun. Through a combination of lack of skill and bad luck, every time I got into a firefight, someone would run up behind me, kill me and then kill the person I had just pumpe rounds into. Over and over.
But then I won a king of the hill match, got a triple kill and got promoted to Corporal so that sort of made up for it.
I reckon getting to know the maps is a big part of it. There are a couple I'm getting familiar with and I usually do okay on those. Then I get one I've played just once or never seen before and I get my ass handed to me.Comment

I got the laser one on the snow map, you need to be playing King really. Just sit and blast it in the capture zone when a few people are in it. I got it right at the end of one game.
I only need MVP (not played any ranked team games so will do that tonight) and Officer, I tend to just do custom games with my mates so I need to up my Social games. Think I have 41 of the 70exp needed so far.Comment
