Halo 3

I'm not saying I don't understand what's happening. I have played Halo 1 & 2. It doesn't change the fact there is absolutely zero effort made to present you with some idea of what your motivation should be whilst playing the game.

Is it not to stop the covenant from activating the 6 other Halo rings, and ending the universe as we know. Don't know about you but I found that quite good motivation to get up and kick some ass

I rewatached, and posted links to youtubed versions of all of the cutscenes from the first two, so anyone could of easily caught up with the story. The beginning of 3 ties in nicely with the end of two, with the exception of Johnson and Keys beating Chief to Earth, however I understand this is explained at the end.

Can you recap me on that? I might have missed it. Also, another thing about the end.

Hood says the 'war' is over, but why are the rest of the Covenant and the Flood on Installation 04 completely forgotten about? Seems a bit of a huge oversight. For one, the Brutes would surely be trying to fill the power gap left by the Prophet's hierarchy collapse just as they did with the Elites.

if u press quit and save duriing mid mission, will you be able to continue from the last checkpoint ? or restart the whole mission again?

Not in the intended way - ie, actually playing the previous games.

You could of bought the Legendary edition, which had every cutscene from the first 2 games on it

With regard to your graphics comment, I'm really not finding the jaggies particularly bad - maybe playing at 1080P is actually prejudicing you, with the talk of PGR3 style lower than 720P native res for the game !

You've misinterpreted me concept ! I posted in this thread earlier how the start of 3 had confused me, as the chief left Delta Halo before Johnson/Keys and therefore how were they on Earth before he was. I was told that I needed to wait for the end of 3 ! And still do !

You know Microsoft are probably going to release a triple bundle pack with all three Halo's in next year anyway. Let's hope they sort out the technical problems with 2 on the 360 if they do.

A couple of games ago after it found players and was setting up the game I was dropped into a lobby on my own while it continued to load the game with just me, suffice to say it ended the game straight away and now I've got another negative EXP point. This is ridiculous.
