when is the demo out on the XBL marketplace?

After sound thrashing (see above), I thought this was ace. I'll be buying it at some point, but probably on xbox 360.

despite the lacking controller support i finished the SP demo yesterday and must say it's awesome. the intensity and atmosphere of the firefights rival if not better the ones of CoD2. and the enhanced physics and realism, such as bullet penetration, add a welcome change and tactical depth to the gameplay. this was pure Black Hawk Down!

needless to say it runs like **** on my 2 years old PC. is there any sign of a XBLM demo release? i really wish i could play through it again with comfortable controls and more visual fidelity.

I was really looking forward to this based on vids. I didn't try the MP beta.

So now, trying the single player demo and it's like I've already played it all before. Nice graphics and all, and the night vision is cool, but really I might as well have been playing Big Red One or any other CoD game. This isn't a bad thing because I've enjoyed them, but I always get bored by the end because the gameplay is so repetitive.

This game is going to kick arse no matter what version you pick, the PS3 version from all reports is also looking good. Definite game of the year right here, I can safely say I'll be grabbing the 360 version and playing it more than I've been playing Halo3... which is saying something.

Love the fact the 360 beta had the party system for joining and staying with friends a la Halo. Just hope that whole online setup is maintained and expanded on in the final game as in the beta you couldnt host or set options. I know in one of the beta loading screens it mentioned being able to tweak the gametypes as you see fit so hopefully this at least has some extra legs in that department.

Anyone know the max no. of players the 360 version will support? I know the beta was 12 but I am hoping for 16. If it has that it beats COD2 in the places it needed to... if there is one thing missing in that game on 360 it was the 8 player cap and the lack of hosting options.

downloaded this in honour of buyin a new pc. Its good. And i'm very impressed with the engine. Doesn't need an uberPC to get a good game out of it. Think i'll pick the pc version over 360 for a change.

It is very very cod2 though. I'm sure even some of the things the soldier's shout are even the same.

yah, i know...fact is i can buy only one game per month till my job doesnt make me rich eheheh...and that game is going to be Assasin's Creed
