Ive been replaying this again and I just noticed something for the first time!
Remember how putting the cursor on the planets during the file selection screen sets off a sound whic goes in tune with whatever note is playing in the background...well on one of the levels in Dreadnought you have to climb a slope and walk over the blue panels to turn the yellow. I realised that the sound made as you walk over them are totally in sync musicaly with that level?s soundtrack!

Well i'm a little late in playing this but I only recently picked up a Wii, so I couldn't help it.
I've just completed this - only up to the 61 stars ending i'm on about - and I loved almost every moment so far. Apart from the bosses being re-used in a similar fashion to previous encounters with them, everything else was brilliant. It is one of the only games in my short but colourfull life that made me excited to see what the next level/planet was next.
If I put nostalgia aside, then Mario Galaxy would be the be my favourite game in the franchise; overtaking Mario 64.
I was hesitant about buying a Wii for Galaxy; thinking it'd only be the same as 64 - in a bad way of re-using exactly the same puzzles/enviroment etc. - but I was pleasently suprised at the amount of fun it was and the joyfully nature it had.
I look forward to going back and retrieving all 120 stars, although I'll probably collect them over time, which isn't bad due to Galaxy's 'pick up and play' nature.
Let's just hope that the reward for getting all 120 stars is more worth it in Galaxy than it was in 64.
