Yeah there are 3 different car types of boost.

Speed Cars
Stunt Cars
Aggressive Cars

The greenish one is a Stunt Car, other two should be flaming red.

OK this will probably make me sound stupid but i need to know.

Showtime roadrules trophy. What is it and how do i get it? When i click up on the dpad it changes to some score for best crash yet when i crash it doesn't tell me a score. Help?

Also whats a boost chain and how do i do it?

The showtime mode is activated when you press L1+R1 at same time, pretty sure the offline showtime score will be the score you have to beat.
Cubb Street/Road? Is best place for chains as you should have about 2-3 respawning buses, when you go back and forth.
Boost Chain you can only get with Speed Cars, best driving onto oncoming traffic or powersliding whilst boosting, this will refills the boost bar so when it runs out initally it refills straight away saying X2 boost, keep on doing this and you will chain.
Found the oncoming freeway to be the best for massive chains, straight road and not much traffic to doge oncoming.

I enjoyed doing the midnight burning routes but the daytime ones? I'm not a fan of the overly bright sheen to everything that is motionless and most of the burning routes were on the other side of the map where the mountain range is.

We need to all get together and do some freeburn challenges for the hell of it one evening.

Alright, I admit it, this is driving me mad now!!!

I'm 20 wins away from my Burnout license which I'll have won for the FOURTH bloody time since owning the game and it's really feeling like a bit of a slog now.

You may well be wondering why the hell it's the fourth time lol. Fisr of all, I changed my PSN ID which meant I had to start again, then my PS3 died so I lost everything on the hdd, then added trophies which meant I had to start again if I wanted to collect them and not long ago, I won the Burnout License for the 3rd time but due to an error on Sony's side at the time I didn't get the trophy for it!

This time I've been playing to just catch up with where I was before so I've ignored most of the stuff like billboards, road rules, etc and just gone for wins. It's taken me 11 hours 30 minutes to complete 50% of the game but it's worrying just how many hours I must have put into it in total over the three games, especially as I've done it as quickly as possible this time which seems about half the time it was before. lol

I just need that Burnout License to get my first platinum trophy and I want to do it before the new DLC arrives. When I'm one victory away from it I'm going save, copy the save on to a memory stick and back it up on my PC as there is no bloody chance of me starting again if something goes wrong this time.

To be honest, this is why I'm not really playing online with you lot at the moment, I just want to get this out of the way first before I can get back to playing it properly again.

Finally got the Platinum trophy, I'll think of a solution to that timed trophy later, just gotta finish the bike licence (60%). Weirdly I'm tempted to get the Elite licence as I presume one of the cars is unlocked with it. Still loving it!

I got mine about an hour after my earlier post. I got it with the game at about 54% so I'm guessing that if you completely ignore everything else, it can be won at about 50%.

It's worth completing (101%) the bike license for what you get at the end.

I'm really hoping that they do some DLC for the bikes as they were a lot of fun but the events were really limited. I want them to add races, stunt runs as well as a load of new bikes.

It's only now that the cars start getting interesting for me. I'm 7 wins away from the Hunter Citizen which is one of my favourites to drive in the game. Not that it handles brilliantly but it is just fun to mess around in. I'll have another 19 cars to win after that one but it's going to take a lot of time to get them all so I'm not going to rush to win them all.

Also we have to get a proper game going on. Sorry about last time, it was like the second time i played it and i was very ****ty. Had no idea what i was doing Also i saw you sent me a mugshot. How on earth do you do that?

But now i'm used to it, the online is just FANTASTIC. I love how its completely seamless to the single player, no pause or loads. Amazing. But as i said we REALLY have to get a group of us on here and battle it out, because its amazing. I had a go with some random Americans and it was amazing fun.

My trophy list states i have 52% of trophies yet when i compare them it only says like 46% or something. Why is it less?

Yeah the trophy listings are really tempermental, probably Sony's servers. Cheers all, feel like I've been chasing a Platinum forever! Got a mate who just picked this up too, online rioting getting easier all the time. Come on Toy Cars pack!

So I finally succumbed and bought this (Not the Ultimate Pack, don't need the Party Pack) on the PSN last night along with the Legendary Cars - only played for an hour last night but had loads of fun.

Typical isn't it? After playing the demo last year I hated the lack of a retry option... yet I didn't even consider using it last night (It being added is the reason I caved). I'm sure I will when I get towards the final challenges though.

Throws a lot of trophies in your face in the first thirty minutes or so.

I've also just started playing it due to the retry option, but I've mainly stuck to doing the billboards & the yellow gate type things. Did a few races & got horribly lost, so my main tactic is to follow the car in front to try to memorise the route, then retry when I inevitably lose the race.

I found the flashing road sign actually pretty good, but I'm typically glancing down at the map to see if there's a possible different route. Would actually quite like to be able to shift the map to the top centre, not sure if there's an option for that or not.

Wow, booted up burnout paradise for the first time in ages, after downloading the patches and legendary cars. What a difference there is between this game now and when it first came out! The original without any of the updates would feel to empty to play now
