What's the hold function Joe mentioned?

i think he's referring to this: if you hold down the L button when you have a power up, you revert back to your normal weapon but store your special. to use your special again simply release the L button.

US version just arrived from VG+. I think it's quite relaxing. The "extreme" moniker is still apt though. The screen is chocka with stuff going on. I think I need to read the manual though. And fire up the rumble pack.

I bought this when I was on holiday and it's pretty good. I like the updated feel without messing with the space invaders legacy.

As some others have mentioned too I really like the way that you seem to control the beats. I'm pretty rubbish at this so far but considering it's a cheaper game and the amount of abuse that the space invaders series has had to endure, I'm having brilliant fun with this
