    Too Human Demo

    I'm enjoying this
It's kinda Like Mass Effect meets a hack and slash dungeon crawler, although I suspect people will misunderstand the combat as a massive DMC wannabe (a bad one). Even at the basic level I was having fun chucking around the enemies , you appear to be able to level up your character with move sword attacks and various other "spells" that affect your weapons.
Using the left stick you point in the direction of an enemy and you will lash out towards them then you can fire your 2 guns independently with the L+R triggers

Tis a bit weird not having camera control on the right stick, the camera is automatic and so far has behaved itself, on occasion it is making funny movements that I wouldn't of expected mind.

Graphics are a a little rough around the edges, in particular some of the less important characters, who could of done with a few more polygons. The cutscenes are very well done despite this.
There are some pretty scenes in the demo and I love the armour designs.

The guy you meet behind the desk, who is his voice? It's very familiar.

    Loving it!

It certainly isn't perfect but it has that RPG looting addictiveness that grabs me.

I'm enjoying the combat and how the skills unlock in a nice steady fashion.

Ah damnit! I have to wait another 3 hours before I can get home and START downloading it

Are there any character customization options in the demo? Or is it like Diablo in that you start of with a standard character and then customize the looks with armor.

There are 6 classes to choose from and then you can customise it with armour quite extensively, there are several different ones in the demo you can pick up.

You can choose helmets, torso, shoulders, legs and feet. There are also different classes of weapons you can use the the demo too, Swords , staffs/hammer/lances, pistols and rifles.

There was an option on the main menu to create character, so perhaps you can make a face for when you are playing Live co-op?

I was very surprised when I just heard the lead characters voice as I immediately recognized it as Crispin Freeman, who I am a huge fan of.

                        Just completed the demo myself.

I am very highly impressed. I absolutely love it. I had a hell of a lot of fun with a pulse rifle that I found!

For those of you waiting to play it still, here's how it rolls.

Left stick for movement, right stick for melee. Hold in the right thumbstick and just keep it held in one direction and you will lock onto an enemy in that direction and start attacking. You can just keep it held and he will beat the crap out of anything that moves. If you double tap the right thumbstick you can launch an enemy into the air.

LT and RT also control your left hand and right hand firearms, or if you're using a rifle, control primary and alternate fire.

Following this, you can either juggle them in the air with your firearms or launch yourself up into the air and perform a melee combo while they're juggled.

The more melee combos you do, the more your 'Ruiner' gauge fills up. When it's reached a full circle you can press RB to fire off a huge blast around you that I managed to take out a miniboss in one hit with.

There ARE more advanced combat moves, like pushing both thumbsticks in the same direction to launch a heavy knockdown move, etc.

It's still very hack-and-slash RPG, and that's fantastic. It works on a level progression and experience system, obviously with phat lootz and potential rare drops from mobs etc etc. Don't go mistaking it for a DMC rip-off, it's not. What it is, is a dungeon crawler / diablo style RPG, in THREE DEE, with a combat system surprisingly in-depth for the type of game it is.

And it's very very very good fun.

As I say, pulse rifle... Hold in your right trigger, start sapping them with a laser, pull the left trigger, grenade goes boom, AoE attack, everything gets set on fire and dies.

                        SO MUCH FUN!

Really enjoyed this...looks a bit rough round the edges in places, but surprisingly good fun and the combat system works well.
